This group offers activities for children from birth to age 5, led by a licensed early childhood teacher. A licensed parent educator will also facilitate a parent discussion group, with topics based on family needs and interests. Recognizing the challenges faced by family members of all ages and stages, this group aspires to create a safe and welcoming space to explore questions, concerns, and hopes. This group is especially intended for families with one or more members who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning (LGBTQ+). We recognize that families come in many forms, and all are welcome—including allies and extended family members.

Your child will create Nintendo-inspired characters using TinkerCAD while learning 3D design skills. They'll also do fun Nintendo-inspired challenges and create themed video games. One to two student-designed projects will be printed and sent home. Printing and material fees are included. Home Technical Requirements: Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones typically DO NOT work. Broadband internet, webcam, microphone and speakers. Zoom Installed on Computer, zoom link will be sent before class. Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard. Enjoy an outing with friends at Grand Casino Mille Lacs. Don’t forget your good luck charms! Meet at North Junior High School for group transportation to the casino. There is limited seating on the bus for wheelchairs. Must be at least 18-years old to register for this class. Tuition includes transportation. Bring to class: money for gambling and food. This seminar is for students of all ability levels and will enable each student to prepare for the ACT college admission test. Participants gain valuable insight into the ACT through a close examination of each question. The workshop teaches students those strategies necessary for answering specific question types and general test taking tips. Suggestions for post seminar test preparation will also be shared. Class fee includes a study guide and 24 practice tests. Enrollment is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Please bring a water bottle, snacks, calculator and two pencils to the seminar. The American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid program helps you recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, automated external defibrillator (AED), breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children and infants. This program will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid certification card that is valid for two years. The certification will be emailed within a few days after completion. This class is suitable for participants as young as 11 years of age and must have the strength to compress a CPR manikin two inches. Enter door 1.

B.A.S.E. Camp consists of a 10-minute warm up, 40 minutes of a fat burning, muscle toning, total body workout, and a 10-minute cool down. With energetic trainers and a fun group atmosphere, you will be inspired to keep coming back for more!

In this class you will learn some basic 1st aid and safety skills for treating a minor cut, burn or even an insect bite. You will also learn skills on how to stay safe in your home and recognize if you or someone else needs emergency care.

Finally come be a part of this phenomenon and explore the exciting world of Granite Crossing, a unique setting crafted by our seasoned Game Master herself. Designed for beginners, these sessions will focus on the fundamentals of Dungeons & Dragons, 5th Edition. Players are encouraged to embody the spirit of heroes, fostering an environment of good sportsmanship and positivity. All players will leave with a set of dice and dice bag. About the instructor: Dawn Marinaro is a board game professional and a seasoned Game Master with over 20 years of experience in teaching new players the art of role-playing games. February 21: participants will choose from pre-made characters and get straight into the action. March 21: participants will have the opportunity to create their own characters if desired before heading out on their journey. Do you fear stumbling, tripping, slipping and falling? Join us for an introduction to understanding how your body should move. You'll learn body mechanics that will enhance your overall strength and centeredness used for everyday actions such as sitting down, getting up and walking. With this new awareness of body alignment and structure, you can repeat these motions throughout every day life. Wear loose comfortable clothing. We will practice barefoot or with socks that grip on a hardwood floor.
