Art Studio Cohort @ North (Grades 6-8)
Spring Art Cohort is a combination of Club and Studio. We work hard at creating art for an 8 week period of time, and end with an art show where we present the finished works to friends, family and community members. By joining Art Cohort, you are committing to attending each week (please communicate if there is illness or emergency that prevents you from coming, to find out what you need to catch up on), using your time wisely while at Art Cohort to create art, and participating in our art community, which includes listening well to others, and contributing your own ideas/thoughts to the discussions. ***Limited number of spots available. Students who have participated in Art@ North before will be given priority, and then students will be allowed in by order of grade*** Art Show will be held at Youth for Christ 203 Cooper Ave North on May 2nd, 7-8pm (artists must be present from 6:00-8:30pm)

DASH Flag Football (Grades K-5)
DASH Sports flag football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack (spikes/cleats, and mouthguards are optional). Football and other equipment is provided.

Beginning Spanish Language For Parents of Immersion Kindergarten Students
Life
We are now offering a free beginning Spanish language class for parents of kindergarten immersion students. This class will help parents learn some of the basics of Spanish language. Class will be 1 ½ hours, once per week and will meet at North Jr. High School on Tuesday's at 6:15pm. The class is only for parents with a child enrolled in the Kindergarten Immersion program. Please register so we can plan for attendance. Enter door 3.

BlueSox Youth Baseball Camp (Ages 7-12)

The Blue Sox Youth Baseball Camp is intended for children between the ages of 7-12, with the primary objective to introduce and familiarize them with the game of baseball and provide further practice for those who already have a passion for the sport and are looking to improve their skills. The Blue Sox Youth Baseball Camp will focus on teaching the basics of the game, including batting, fielding, throwing, and game strategies. We aim to help each child develop their personal skills, understanding of the game, and foster a love for baseball. The camp is designed to cater to the individual needs of each participant, allowing them to progress at their own pace. This program offers an excellent opportunity for children to learn and grow in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. About the instructor: Our experienced and passionate coaches are committed to creating a positive and constructive learning environment. Each coach is well-versed in the sport, capable of providing the necessary guidance and support, and keen on nurturing the potential in each child. The Blue Sox Youth Baseball Camp is more than just a camp; it aims to create a community that encourages children to engage in sports, learn teamwork, discipline, and resilience, all while having fun. Board Game Nights: Learning Modern Classics!

Do you want to learn new board games? At this fun and interactive class, you'll learn board games beyond Monopoly, Life and Risk. Join board game professional, Dawn Marinaro, of Paddy’s Game Shoppe with their 30+ years of board game experience to learn modern games that will be a hit at your next gathering. You will play some of the most essential modern board game classics like Cataan, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, King of Tokyo as well as other fun entries like Castle Panic, The Spill, or FlapJacks & Sasquatches! This is your perfect introduction to modern board games. Games will be decided on based off of the makeup and previous experience of each group. Bring to class: a beverage and light snack!

Boxing for Fitness (Men & Women)

Come try out boxing! These sessions are open to both men and women whether competing or just wanting to learn the basic fundamentals of boxing. Headgear and gloves are provided to practice. You will need to purchase a mouth guard and hand wraps. If you are interested in competing, information will be available for participants at class. Saturday's class will be a combination of boxing and jiu jitsu.

Impress your friends with your charcuterie board making skills! You'll learn how to display meat, cheese, fruit, nuts, artisan crackers, and more for social occasions or mealtime. You'll leave with a little Charcuterie history, a completed tray to enjoy later at home, and the skills to continue making your own boards. Tuition includes: small tray. Code Championship Tournament Series: Virtual Computer Coding Competition (Grades 3-9)
Special Interest
Your child will build a computer bot to play head-to-head against other coders. Whether this is their first Code Championship event, or if you've been competing for years, this is the perfect way to explore the competitive coding world of Code Championship. No previous coding experience necessary. The Code Championship Series is a series of four tournaments in four weeks (it's ok to miss one or two). These tournaments will be hosted online using Google Meet and the Code Championship website. If you have a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox, no additional download is required. Participants should be able to navigate the internet (basic typing and mouse control). The link to the Google Meet event will be emailed two days before the tournament.

Come and learn how Cotton Candy is made WITH and WITHOUT a machine. In this class we will be learning how Cotton Candy is made by heating and spinning flavored sugar and Jolly Ranchers. Creating Crop Art (For the State Fair or Just for Fun)

NEW! Seed art is a long-time tradition at the Minnesota State Fair. Using assorted crop seeds, artists glue them to boards and other surfaces to make beautiful, and creative works of art. This class will provide an introduction to crop art including a brief history, styles, specific techniques for making a seed art design, and how to enter your work in the State Fair. Participants will have an opportunity to make a work of their own to bring home. Tuition includes supplies. About the Instructors: Amy and Steve Saupe are a father/daughter seed art team who have won multiple blue ribbons for their seed art entries at the Minnesota State Fair. Enter door 1.

DASH Sports flag football tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old class and recommended when needed for the 4-5 year old class.

NEW! DASH Sports Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: Sprinting, javelin throwing, shotput, relay running, jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should bring a water bottle and wear athletic shoes. Meet by the outside fields.
