Flow + Restore Yoga
NEW! You'll enjoy a flow class with a moderate pace and intensity with a focus on connecting breath with movement. The teachers prepare a sequence of postures that include a mix of stability, balance and mobility, linked with functional transitions and breath. There will be at least 10 minutes dedicated to meditation time (not including savasana), using various meditation techniques such as guided, visualization, or silent seated meditation with a slow, flowing sequence in the ambience of candlelight. Open to all levels of experience. Bring to class: yoga mat and water.

BlueSox Youth Baseball Camp (Ages 7-12)

The Blue Sox Youth Baseball Camp is intended for children between the ages of 7-12, with the primary objective to introduce and familiarize them with the game of baseball and provide further practice for those who already have a passion for the sport and are looking to improve their skills. The Blue Sox Youth Baseball Camp will focus on teaching the basics of the game, including batting, fielding, throwing, and game strategies. We aim to help each child develop their personal skills, understanding of the game, and foster a love for baseball. The camp is designed to cater to the individual needs of each participant, allowing them to progress at their own pace. This program offers an excellent opportunity for children to learn and grow in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. About the instructor: Our experienced and passionate coaches are committed to creating a positive and constructive learning environment. Each coach is well-versed in the sport, capable of providing the necessary guidance and support, and keen on nurturing the potential in each child. The Blue Sox Youth Baseball Camp is more than just a camp; it aims to create a community that encourages children to engage in sports, learn teamwork, discipline, and resilience, all while having fun. We believe every child deserves the chance to play baseball and develop their skills in a supportive environment. Enter door 1 for session 1. Meet by the softball fields for session 2.

Bowling Bingo
Just For Fun
Participants will enjoy an evening of fun in a class combining bowling with bingo! At the beginning of each game, participants receive a bingo card marked with bowling terms. As they bowl, items are crossed off the bingo card. A winning bingo card receives a prize. Tuition includes two games of bowling, shoes and prizes.

Boxing for Fitness (Men & Women)

Come try out boxing! These sessions are open to both men and women whether competing or just wanting to learn the basic fundamentals of boxing. Headgear and gloves are provided to practice. You will need to purchase a mouth guard and hand wraps. If you are interested in competing, information will be available for participants at class. Saturday's class will be a combination of boxing and jiu jitsu.

Canoeing Basics

This beginner session offers basic instruction and experience to help participants learn how to canoe. Class will take place at the calm and scenic waters of Warner Lake that is perfect for beginners. You can sign up with a partner or be paired with another paddler. All participants must sign a waiver and children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 18 need waiver signed by parent. No lifeguard will be present. All equipment will be supplied by Clear Waters Outfitting. Meet at Warner Lake boat launch.

Ceramic Face Containers (Ages 12 & Up)

NEW! Whether you are new to clay or have some experience, this hand building and sculpting class will go from pinch pots to sculpting a face! We will focus on basic additive sculpting skills and techniques to create a face that’s anywhere from realistic to hilarious. Faces can be made into containers or left as sculptures. Two sessions will be used to sculpt and the third will be for decorating and glazing! Items will be fired after the final class and available for pickup at the Community Ed office, Quarryview Education Center, 800 7th St S, Waite Park. Children's Art Studio Clay Camp with Claire Witt (ages 5-13)
Arts & Crafts
Each participant will make 10 tiny bowls and a large fruit bowl on the electric potter’s wheel from a slab of clay. Your child will learn how to fire their work in a safe backyard hole on location at St. Cloud’s favorite Art House. About the Instructor: Claire Witt is a professional artist who designed the mosaic mural in Wilson Park’s Kaleidoscope Playground.

Code Championship Tournament Series: Virtual Computer Coding Competition (Grades 3-9)
Special Interest
Your child will build a computer bot to play head-to-head against other coders. Whether this is their first Code Championship event, or if you've been competing for years, this is the perfect way to explore the competitive coding world of Code Championship. No previous coding experience necessary. The Code Championship Series is a series of four tournaments in four weeks (it's ok to miss one or two). These tournaments will be hosted online using Google Meet and the Code Championship website. If you have a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox, no additional download is required. Participants should be able to navigate the internet (basic typing and mouse control). The link to the Google Meet event will be emailed two days before the tournament.
