DASH Sports Summer Volleyball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key volleyball skills such as passing, serving, and hitting will be taught and practiced throughout the week. Fun, volleyball skill specific games are also incorporated, giving players game type experience, and a better understanding of the game! District 742 Swim Camp (Grades K-8)
District 742 Swim Camp is open to anyone who is kindergarten through 8th grade, and can comfortably and independently swim in the shallow end, at a minimum. We will work on skills needed for each participant, from basic swimming skills to competitive swimming skills. * For scholarships, contact Coach Shanley at evan.shanley@isd742.org Transportation: North Jr. High and Kennedy students can take the shuttle bus over to Apollo. Students in grades K-5 will need to find a ride over to Apollo. Students should be picked up promptly at the end of the class, grades K-2 at 4:45p and grades 3-8 at 5:15p. Parents will be required to pick up students at the end of the camp at Apollo, door 11. Students must provide their own suits and towels. Goggles and swim caps are highly recommended, but not required. **Note: Wednesday, May 1st is an early-release from school in 742. Families will need to provide their own transportation to Apollo**

Fencing is a fun and intense sport that teaches speed, quick reactions, accuracy of movement and excellent coordination. More than a game, fencing can help you develop self-discipline and coordination of the mind and body. In this beginner class, you will learn natural body movements to create simple and effective self-protection techniques with the sword including attacking, defense, and timing among other tactics. Game-ified Piano Lessons at Spicer Music Studio
Your young musician can play music with an app designed to give them scores on note and rhythm accuracy. This teaching method uses pianos hooked up to an app and feels like a game that students love to play that has educational value and helps students progress quickly. This Community Education offer is three (3) thirty (30) minute sessions. Spicer Music Studio contact information will be given at time of registration to schedule lessons. Is your child interested in music? Professional virtual instruction is being offered by Steve Cekalla's Guitar and Music School. This class offers a unique and fun approach for starters, but with the ability to teach styles, theory, and techniques to those with instrument experience. A stable internet connection, some internet savvy (ex. ability to screenshot/print screen), and access to a working printer is helpful. Participants should have their own instrument, but a limited amount of guitars are available. Please check before registering for availability. This Community Education package is for three virtual 30-minute group lessons. Only one lesson package per student. Your child's sessions will be scheduled in the month you registered for. Horse 3-Day Camp (Ages 6-17)
Your child will experience a mini-week long camp. Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn including activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, grooming and caring for the horses (including bathing) and feeding them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena with no trails and consists of learning how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Camps are held rain or shine. There is an outdoor and indoor arena. Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layers, depending on weather. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided and required to be worn. Signed waiver forms are required and the link will be emailed to participants once they have registered for the camp. Bring to class: sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, nut-free snack and lunch. Camp is located in Anoka, MN.

Junior Golf Clinic - Intro to Golf (Ages 5-13)
Has your child expressed an interest in golf? This clinic will allow them to expand and improve that interest. Day one: grip & stance, putting, golf etiquette, chipping. Day two: putting and chipping review, club selection, full swing technique and skill challenges. Day three: review, skill challenges, basic rules and course play time. Day four: course play time. All skills are taught by demonstration, repetition and skill challenges. This clinic is a simple introduction to the skills of golf. Your child’s own equipment is suggested, but some clubs can be provided with prior notice. Clubs cannot be shared.
