Adult & Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid (Ages 11+)
Wellness
The American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid program helps you recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, automated external defibrillator (AED), breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children and infants. This program will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid certification card that is valid for two years. The certification will be emailed within a few days after completion. This class is suitable for participants as young as 11 years of age and must have the strength to compress a CPR manikin two inches. Enter door 1.

Bodies In Motion Presents Contemporary Line Dancing

Whether you're looking to try something new, get moving, or meet fun people, Bodies In Motion is a contemporary line dancing fitness class all about having fun, spreading positive vibes, building confidence, and connecting with others. You'll dance to all genres of music, learning new routines each week that builds on previous sessions. Wear comfortable clothing and feel free to show some flair with a large clack fan or a cowboy/cowgirl hat! To add even more excitement throughout the season, participants can look forward to monthly themed nights celebrating Valentine's day (2/11), Tanika's Lucky Birthday Celebration (3/11), Spring Fling (4/15), and Almost Summer Bash (5/13). Don't let the cold winter months keep you from moving and getting your steps in! Sign up for the walking program and enjoy the climate controlled environment of various district facilities during the listed evening and weekend hours. After registering, a wristband will be available for pickup at any of the Open Gym sites during Open Gym hours. A wristband must be worn during walking sessions. Walking program participants are welcome to walk during any of the open gym hours listed here. The open gym hours are subject to change on short notice so please refer back to the schedule often. Walking program wristband is valid through July 2026.

Yoga FIT With KPower (Focused Interval Training)

We begin with a yoga-inspired warm-up, opening joints, grounding your stance, and connecting to each inhale and exhale Then you will challenge yourself for 25 minutes of interval-style strength training with light weights, sliders, bands, and bodyweight strength feeling every muscle engage, every breath deepen, and every movement cultivate strength and stability. Slower, intentional motions let you hone focus, balance, and control, merging intensity with awareness.
