This full-body workout encompasses kicking, punching and blocking that focuses on developing strength, balance, stability and flexibility. This class is open to men and women and is for beginner or advanced students as well as athletes looking to improve conditioning of the upper, lower body and core. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and supportive shoes.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Re-Certification Course
Aquatics
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. This class is for recertification. Participants must be currently certified or expired within the last 30 days. Enter door 2. Prerequisites: Must be 15 years old; Swim 300 yards continuously; Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs; Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds by starting in the water, swimming 20 yards, surface dive to a depth of 7 to 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point, exit the water without using steps or a ladder. Participants who successfully complete the Lifeguarding course receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for 2 years. Come prepared to swim.

Beginner Roller Skating Lessons at the Skatin' Place (Ages 5 & Up)

NEW! The St. Cloud Skatin' Place is offering roller skating lessons for ages 5 and up! Your child will have fun while learning how to skate. In this 4-week program we will go over the correct form, breaking, and skating forwards. Lessons are intended for first timers.

PotSpot Pottery Painting Fun (Grades 1-5)
Arts & Crafts
Does your child like to express their creativity? At this fun class, they’ll join The Potspot to paint a piece of beautiful pottery. We'll have a selection of themed figurines for participants to choose from. Tuition includes supplies. Bring to class: creativity. The PotSpot will fire the items and return them in about two weeks. Enter door 1.

Girls Who Code! Computer Coding Club (For Girls in Grades 3-5 attending Kennedy)
Special Interest
In coordination with St. John's and College of St. Benedict's, third, fourth, and fifth grade girls at Kennedy Community School will have the opportunity to build the foundational skills and understanding of computer science concepts and sisterhood with guidance from the Nationally Recognized Program - GirlsWhoCode (www.girlswhocode.com). Your child will learn how to code and build fun projects together that can be shared with friends and family. Students majoring in computer science from SJU/CSB will help provide individual student assistance alongside Holly Nelson, Kennedy Community School Librarian/Media Specialist. Need-based scholarships are available from CSB/SJU upon request. Families will need to pick up their student promptly at 3:30 p.m.

Welcome to wrestling - the oldest sport in the world! Wrestling is a form of exercise that helps develop strength, endurance, balance, coordination, motor planning and confidence. We are committed to teaching the sport of wrestling to all boys and girls in the St. Cloud area. Enter door 2 (Tech Activities Door). **November 20th will be information, singlet handout, and registration night. Please bring a check for uniform deposit.
