Mediterranean Chicken Gyro Meal

NEW! In this online cooking class, bring the full-flavors of the Mediterranean right into your own kitchen. You’ll learn to create perfectly seasoned Greek chicken gyro, refreshing traditional tzatziki, golden oven-roasted lemon potatoes, soft and pillowy homemade pita bread, and full flavored drizzle and salad dressings. Participants will receive a list of ingredients five days prior to class to allow enough time for shopping and preparation. A full recipe will be sent out a few days after class.

NEW! Discover the exotic and enticing cuisine of Morocco in this online interactive class. You will learn how to make Moroccan chicken tangine, couscous, and salad. While cooking, we will talk about Moroccan spices, including Ras el Hanout, and varieties of other types of tagine dishes. You do not need a tagine pot to make tagine. Participants receive a list of ingredients and full recipe 5 days prior to class to allow enough time for shopping and preparation.

Music Lessons for Adults - Beginner, Intermediate or Beyond
Creative
Do you want to learn how to play either the guitar, bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, or ukulele? Led by Steve Cekalla's Guitar and Music School, these group lessons are matched to your skill level. You’ll receive three virtual 30-minute group lessons that is fun for beginners, or a more technique and theory-focused for those with instrument experience. Bring to class: your own instrument. A limited number of guitars are available if requested prior to the start of classes. Contact information to schedule classes will be given at the time of registration.

My Little Horse Camp (Ages 2-5 with Caregiver)
Special Interest
Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet several different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. Camps are held rain or shine. There is an outdoor and indoor arena. Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layers, depending on weather. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided and required to be worn. This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. Signed waiver forms are required and the link will be emailed to participants once they have registered for the camp. Bring to class: sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle and a nut-free snack. Camp is located in Anoka, MN.

Growing fruit trees and shrubs in Minnesota can be tricky with such a short growing season. One solution is to focus on growing native plants. We'll discuss the many hardy varieties of native fruit trees and shrubs that can be commercially available that will flourish in your Minnesota backyard.

ECFE for Parents and Children of Mixed Ages
For parents and children 18 months to 4 years. This 8-week class (April/May) or 4-week class (May) will be held in our Quarryview Woods. The outdoor environment is skillfully staged for parent-child exploration and adventure with sensory rich play including time for parents to learn more about their child through observation. The class will be led by two ECFE family educators licensed in early childhood and parent education.

One registration reserves the court for your group’s time. Maximum of two court reservations per registrant per day. Aquatics
These lessons are 25 minutes long. Private lessons are designed to give any participant the individualized attention necessary in order to improve or master swimming skills. Together, the instructor, participants and/or parent determine the goals for the session and the curriculum is customized in order to meet those goals.
