How do we protect this family legacy and ensure its use and enjoyment for future generations? The Problem: Various forces can threaten its very existence, including nursing home and Medicaid (MA) costs, estate taxes, family divorces, creditor and bankruptcy issues, taxes and operating expenses, unequal resources among owners, in-law complications, and challenges around fair use and enjoyment. The Answer: In this session, we will explore real-life solutions and discuss four practical paths that can help families address these challenges without driving the family apart or sacrificing the legacy asset.
