Early Childhood Family Education Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is here for you. ECFE provides quality learning opportunities and resources for parents and children from birth to kindergarten entry. Early Childhood Screening Early Childhood Screening is required for entrance in Minnesota's public schools or within 30 days of enrollment into kindergarten.
