Creating Crop Art (For the State Fair or Just for Fun)CreativeSeed art is a long-time tradition at the Minnesota State Fair. Using assorted crop seeds, artists glue them to boards and other surfaces to make beautiful and creative works of art. This class will provide an introduction to crop art including a brief history, styles, specific techniques for making a seed art design, and how to enter your work in the State Fair. Participants will have an opportunity to make a work of their own to bring home. Tuition includes supplies. About the Instructors: Amy and Steve Saupe are a father/daughter seed art team who have won multiple blue ribbons for their seed art entries at the Minnesota State Fair. Enter door 1.Winter 2025

Music Lessons for Adults - Beginner, Intermediate or BeyondCreativeDo you want to learn how to play guitar, bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, or ukulele? Led by Steve Cekalla's Guitar and Music School, these professionally-led group lessons are matched to your skill level. You’ll receive three virtual 30-minute group lessons that is fun for beginners, or a more technique and theory-focused for those with instrument experience. Bring to class: your own instrument, however a limited number of guitars are available if requested prior to the start of classes. The January 29th class will feature classic landscapes while the April 16th class will feature serene beach scenes. Beginners and those with experience are welcome!
