NEW!  Prepare for your Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness adventure with a full-day, hands-on prep course at scenic Warner Lake in Clearwater. This comprehensive, instructor-led class equips beginners and experienced paddlers alike with the essential skills needed for a safe and successful canoe trip Participants will actively practice:

• Trip planning and packing
• Proper canoe paddling techniques
• Cooking meals over a campfire and stove
• Setting up and breaking down a campsite
• Key wilderness safety practices—including wearing life jackets, handling emergencies, weather awareness, and Leave No Trace principles
• Wilderness navigation basics, such as map reading, compass use, and locating portages
