Baseball for Youth, the Blue Sox Way (Ages 7-12)

Join us for an exciting opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball in a fun and inviting atmosphere! This camp is designed for kids ages 7 to 12 who are interested in developing their skills and love for the game. Led by dedicated Blue Sox coaches, participants will engage in various skills and drills that introduce them to the basics of baseball. Come ready to learn, play, and have fun as we foster a passion for baseball together! We will utilize gym space for skill stations and set up base pads to practice running the bases. Small soft baseballs will be used to ensure safety while learning the game. The camp will consist of stations for different skills, providing a comprehensive introduction to baseball while ensuring that every participant feels welcome and excited about the sport! At this introductory DASH sports camp, your child will learn how to properly dribble, pass, shoot, and play defense in an experiential and positive environment through fun, skill-based basketball drills and mini-games. DASH Sports flag football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack (spikes/cleats, and mouthguards are optional). Football and other equipment is provided.

DASH Sports flag football tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old class and recommended when needed for the 4-5 year old class.

Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should bring a water bottle and wear athletic shoes. Meet by the outside fields.

Get Outdoors, MN: Youth Park Play: Full-Day Experiences (Ages 4-12)

Parents, enjoy a day to yourselves while your child has fun in the great outdoors! Our licensed staff will facilitate learning experiences using the play-based learning approach. Park Play camps are committed to offering the balance of self-directed and self-driven learning through inquiry, play, and freedoms to design & create. Campers can expect to engage in healthy risk-taking, “soft”/”essential”/”life” skills (i.e. the interpersonal attributes of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creation). *Child must be toilet trained.
