55+ Driver Discount Program
Life
Participants who are 55+ who complete this course get a 10% discount in your auto insurance premiums. Taught as a presentation from a certified instructor, you’ll discuss challenges drivers face, new road designs, vehicle technology, and updates on current laws. There are no written or behind the wheel tests and a certificate of completion will be provided at the end of class. Update: The 8-hour initial class requirement has been removed as of July 1st, 2024. Participants must take 4-hour course to initially earn the discount and then repeat the 4-hour class every three years to maintain the discount.

ACT Prep Seminar (Grades 11 & 12)
Special Interest
Attention High School Juniors and Seniors applying for college! With a top score of 36 and the national average now at 21, a score increase of even one or two points on the ACT gives you an advantage. Bring to class: Two #2 pencils, paper, a calculator, and a peanut-free lunch. ZAPS test-preparation seminars are designed to help each student do their personal best on the ACT. In the five-hour seminar, students will learn: Strategies for using partial knowledge to eliminate wrong choices Tips for improving in all four sub tests (English, Math, Reading and Science) Tactics for using limited testing time Take shortened practice tests that mirror the actual testing experience Reduce test anxiety and gain confidence Receive a comprehensive study guide and 24 practice test workouts with detailed answer explanations Get suggestions for individualized study in the days leading up to the test Motivational instruction and hands-on practice will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses.

This is intended for the Initial Contact form for the ARISE program. Please complete one form per child to be considered for ARISE. Important note! There is no charge for submitting this form, but you must complete the checkout to be enrolled. You must also receive a confirmation email upon checkout or your student will not be considered as a candidate for ARISE.

ARISE Services
ARISE (A Recreational Inclusion Support Endeavor) provides support for children with disabilities so they can access community recreation and leisure activities with their peers. ARISE serves children and young adults (Birth to 21) with any type of disability. Participants must reside in Stearns, Benton or Sherburne Counties, within a 30 mile radius of St. Cloud. ARISE coordinators work with families to determine the needs of each child and to personalize services. They determine if services can be provided based on the availability of qualified staff. All families must complete an Initial Contact form.

The American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid program helps you recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, automated external defibrillator (AED), breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children and infants. This program will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid certification card that is valid for two years. Enter door 1.

We'll learn precision and accuracy in this four-week class of lessons and games throwing axes, and participants will refine their axe-throwing skills until they can throw axes with amazing precision. Babysitting Clinic (Ages 10-14)
Special Interest
At this babysitting class, your child will learn how to keep other children safe, handle difficult behaviors, change diapers, feed a baby, and more. They'll also learn the basics of first aid and talk about how to handle emergency situations. Students will not be officially certified in CPR or First Aid with this class. Baseball for Youth, the Blue Sox Way (Ages 7-12)

Join us for an exciting opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball in a fun and inviting atmosphere! This camp is designed for kids ages 7 to 12 who are interested in developing their skills and love for the game. Led by dedicated Blue Sox coaches, participants will engage in various skills and drills that introduce them to the basics of baseball. Come ready to learn, play, and have fun as we foster a passion for baseball together! We will utilize gym space for skill stations and set up base pads to practice running the bases. Small soft baseballs will be used to ensure safety while learning the game. The camp will consist of stations for different skills, providing a comprehensive introduction to baseball while ensuring that every participant feels welcome and excited about the sport!
