Special Opportunities
This group offers activities for children from birth to age 5, led by a licensed early childhood teacher. A licensed parent educator will also facilitate a parent discussion group, with topics based on family needs and interests. Recognizing the challenges faced by family members of all ages and stages, this group aspires to create a safe and welcoming space to explore questions, concerns, and hopes. This group is especially intended for families with one or more members who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning (LGBTQ+). We recognize that families come in many forms, and all are welcome—including allies and extended family members.

3D Printing: Harry Potter-Themed (Grades 2-6)
Special Interest
Create a magical pendant and wand using TinkerCAD while building 3D design skills. Students will also enjoy Harry Potter–inspired challenges and design themed video games while waiting for their 3D prints to finish. One design will be printed and sent home. Printing and material fees are included in the camp cost. Bring to Class: a USB drive, nut-free lunch and drink. Enter door 1.

Life
At this driver improvement course, you’ll discuss challenges drivers face, new road designs, vehicle technology, and updates to current laws. There are no written or behind the wheel tests, and a certificate of completion will be provided at the end of class. Class is taught as a presentation from a certified instructor. Participants age 55+ who complete this course can get a 10% auto insurance premium discount. Please remember to bring water, coffee, or snacks to enjoy during class. Enter door 1.

ARISE Services
ARISE (A Recreational Inclusion Support Endeavor) provides support for children with disabilities so they can access community recreation and leisure activities with their peers. ARISE serves children and young adults (Birth to 21) with any type of disability. Participants must reside in Stearns, Benton or Sherburne Counties, within a 30 mile radius of St. Cloud. ARISE coordinators work with families to determine the needs of each child and to personalize services. They determine if services can be provided based on the availability of qualified staff. All families must complete an Initial Contact form.

Adult & Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid (Ages 11+)

The American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid program helps you recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, automated external defibrillator (AED), breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children and infants. This program will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid certification card that is valid for two years. The certification will be emailed within a few days after completion. This class is suitable for participants as young as 11 years of age and must have the strength to compress a CPR manikin two inches. Enter door 1.

Adult Group Golf Lessons

Adult lessons are a perfect balance for the beginner golfer and those who want to review the basics and brush up on their game. You will learn the proper grips, stance, club selection, chipping, putting, full swing, common rules and course etiquette. You will enjoy lessons with a variety of demonstrations, handouts, practice time, skill challenges and time on the course. Bring to class: your own clubs. Please notify Angushire Golf Club in advance if you do not have clubs as a select amount of clubs may be available.

Air Dry Clay Creatures with Sistersloom (Ages 5 & Up)

NEW! Discover the joy of sculpting without the need for a kiln! In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of modeling with air-dry clay from sisters, Farrah and Orly, ages 15 and 12, to create your own charming, 3D animal figures. Using simple techniques like pinching, rolling, and coiling, you’ll transform a lump of clay into a unique creature (think fox, owls, sleepy cats, or penguins). All supplies provided. Enter door 1.

Apollo Youth Flag Football League (Entering Grades K-4)

Youth football for younger players is back! This touch/flag football league is a great way for your child to be introduced to the game of football! Your child will learn basic football skills like passing, running, and catching from the Apollo coaches and varsity football players. Following the skills session, players will compete in a game each Saturday. Each child will practice valuable life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship in an enthusiastic learning environment. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate Youth XS, S, M, L or Adult S, M, L, XL, XXL). Bring to class: plenty of water. Please meet by the football field on the South side of Apollo.
