Starting Soon55+ Driver Discount ProgramLifeParticipants who are 55+ who complete this course get a 10% discount in your auto insurance premiums. Taught as a presentation from a certified instructor, you’ll discuss challenges drivers face, new road designs, vehicle technology, and updates on current laws. There are no written or behind the wheel tests and a certificate of completion will be provided at the end of class. Update: The 8-hour initial class requirement has been removed as of July 1st, 2024. Participants must take 4-hour course to initially earn the discount and then repeat the 4-hour class every three years to maintain the discount.Winter 2025

ARISE ServicesARISE (A Recreational Inclusion Support Endeavor) provides support for children with disabilities so they can access community recreation and leisure activities with their peers. ARISE serves children and young adults (Birth to 21) with any type of disability. Participants must reside in Stearns, Benton or Sherburne Counties, within a 30 mile radius of St. Cloud. ARISE coordinators work with families to determine the needs of each child and to personalize services. They determine if services can be provided based on the availability of qualified staff. No activity bus from Kennedy (no supervision of participants available). Parents will be required to pick up students at the end of the camp at Apollo, door 11. Code Championship Tournament Series: Virtual Computer Coding Competition (Grades 3-9)Special InterestYour child will build a computer bot to play head-to-head against other coders. Whether this is their first Code Championship event, or if you've been competing for years, this is the perfect way to explore the competitive coding world of Code Championship. No previous coding experience necessary. The Code Championship Series is a series of four tournaments in four weeks (it's ok to miss one or two). These tournaments will be hosted online using Google Meet and the Code Championship website. If you have a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox, no additional download is required. Starting SoonCreating Crop Art (For the State Fair or Just for Fun)CreativeSeed art is a long-time tradition at the Minnesota State Fair. Using assorted crop seeds, artists glue them to boards and other surfaces to make beautiful and creative works of art. This class will provide an introduction to crop art including a brief history, styles, specific techniques for making a seed art design, and how to enter your work in the State Fair. Participants will have an opportunity to make a work of their own to bring home. Tuition includes supplies.
