DASH Flag Football Tykes (Ages 3-6)
Recreation
DASH Sports flag football tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Footballs and flag belts are provided. Athletes should dress for the weather. Bring to class: water bottle (spikes/cleats are optional). Parent participation may be needed for the 3-6 year olds. Meet at the outdoor fields.

DASH Sports soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills training (dribbling, passing, shooting, & defense) and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Soccer balls are provided. Bring to class: water bottle (shin guards are optional). Enter door 1

DASH Outdoor T-Ball Tykes Camp (Ages 2-6)

Is your child looking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes camp introduces players to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and base running. The final day of class is ‘Game Day’ and athletes will showcase their skills in a game environment. Baseballs and bats are provided. Bring to class: water bottle and baseball glove. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old group and recommended when needed for the 4-6 year old group. Meet at ball fields behind school. If there is inclement weather we will move into the gym.

DASH Track & Field Camp (Ages 7-11)

DASH Sports Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: Sprinting, javelin throwing, shotput, relay running, jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Bring to class: water bottle and wear athletic shoes. Meet by the outside fields.

Dim Sum Dumpling Dynasty: Pot Stickers with Homemade Wrappers,, Filling & Dipping Sauce (Adult or Youth with Adult Supervision)

Dim Sum is a joyful Chinese dining tradition of sharing a variety of small flavorful bites and connection with family and friends. One of the most beloved Dim Sum Dishes is Pot Stickers! You will learn the magic of building a full-flavored filling (choose base of pork or chicken), roll out tender homemade wrappers, assemble and cook the pot stickers to perfection with a crispy bottom and tender juicy filling. A bright flavorful sauce will complete the experience. The experience will possibly make store bought pot stickers a thing of the past! Tuition includes an electronic packet of recipes. Participants will receive Zoom instructions via email prior to class. More info will be provided in the ingredient list packet. NOTE: One registration fee for this virtual class can include immediate family members living in the same home only.

Enjoy time with friends at Pizza Ranch in Waite Park for a delicious, all-you-can-eat buffet. A room is reserved just for us! Feast on a variety of pizzas, chicken, potatoes, salads, soups, and desserts. Bring to class: money for your meal and beverage (tuition covers cost of Project Challenge staff only).

Special Events
Enjoy a tasty, light supper at Zaffiro's Pizza in Waite Park and afterward attend a movie at Marcus Parkwood Cinema (conveniently located just down the carpeted hallway from the restaurant). Participant pick up will be at the theater following the movie. Tuition includes movie admission. Bring to class (optional): spending money for your meal and movie snacks.

Nature
NEW! Discover how small changes in landscaping can make a big impact on water quality, native habitat, and pollinator health. This class will look into practical ways to restore shorelines, create pollinator-friendly lawns, and design rain gardens that filter runoff while supporting wildlife. Whether you’re looking to replace traditional turf with native plants, improve shoreline resilience, or attract beneficial insects, this session will present some environmentally friendly alternatives.
