Tech Boys Soccer Summer Practice
The Tech Boys Soccer coaching staff will hold practices at Tech on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm and Thursdays from 10:00 am - 11:30 am starting on June 4th and ending on Aug 1st. These sessions will focus on skill development and teamwork through various activities and scrimmages in preparation for the 2024 season. All athletes who are going to be in 8th-12th grade are invited to attend.(We are in need of athletes interested in playing goalkeeper for our teams. Please spread the word that this will be a great opportunity to receive some instruction and try it out.)

Tech Summer Youth Football Camp (Entering Grades 3-8)

TECH TIGER SUMMER FOOTBALL CAMP (entering grades 3-8) Play football, have fun! Your child will enjoy expert coaching from our experienced staff and players. Surprise special guests will join us each night of camp. Campers will be drilled daily on basic ball skills, take-away skills and pursuit fundamentals. Players will develop position specific skills and techniques through competitive drills, contests and passing scrimmages. Our 4-day camp is non-contact with an emphasis on safety, fun and learning to play football like a Tech Tiger. A t-shirt will be provided. (please indicate YOUTH S, M, L or ADULT S, M, L, XL, XXL). All Tiger Youth Football and South Jr. High Football players are encouraged to participate in this camp. Tech Tiger Summer Youth Volleyball Camp for Boys & Girls (grades 3-9)

Calling all boys and girls interested in volleyball! Join us as Tech Volleyball presents Team Tiger Camp! In this fundamental focused camp, players will work on fine tuning their skills in a positive, high-energy environment. Players will work in small groups on skills, drills and game situations to hone their skills in preparation for their next volleyball season. Enter door 2.

Tech Tiger Youth Flag Football (Entering Grades K-4)

This program is an engaging introduction to the TRADITION of St. Cloud Tech Tiger Football. Your Tech Football Player will spend time each session working on basic ball skills, take-away skills and pursuit fundamentals. Each session will conclude with players dividing into groups (K-2 and 3-4) for team games like 7 on 7 Flag Football and Tiger Ball. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate YOUTH S, M, L or ADULT S, M, L, XL, XXL). Tech High School coaches and players will be leading the instruction and coaching the teams. All future Tiger Football Players are encouraged to participate. Tiger Power Summer Strength & Conditioning Program

Tiger Power Summer Strength and Conditioning Program (Grades 7-12) The Tech Power program is designed to develop EXPLOSIVE speed and strength. We incorporate Olympic weight movements, circuit training, plyometrics, and dynamic speed development to monitor and track your athlete’s growth and development. Sessions will run from 8:00-10:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays. Our start date is June 4th and our last day is Aug 1st. There will be no programming during the MSHSL Dead Period the week of July 1-5. Tiger Summer Basketball Camp presented by Coach Don Ferguson for Boys & Girls (Grades 3-8)
Recreation
Each session will focus on ball handling, shooting, finishing at the basket, and reading defenses. Participants will also be engaged in 1-on-1, 2-on-2, and 3-on-3 competitive activities. Watch your child's skills soar with player development. Players participating should have had experience playing either in the rec. leagues or traveling programs. Each camper will receive a t-shirt! Tiger Youth Tackle Football (Entering Grades 5 & 6)

Come join the Tech Football Family! This is a padded, full contact football league offered to students at Clearview, Lincoln, Oak Hill, Talahi and South Junior High Schools who will be entering the 5th and 6th grades for the 2024-25 school year. Practices are held twice a week in the evenings and games are played on Saturday mornings. The season starts in late August and runs through mid October. There are approximately 15-20 players per team. Students will learn the Tech Tiger fundamentals of blocking and tackling, develop both ball skills and take-away skills, and learn the offensive and defensive schemes and techniques used at Tech. Sportsmanship and teamwork will beemphasized throughout. 6th graders attending South Jr. High should sign up for the school they attended as 5th graders. Pads and other equipment will be provided. An informational letter will go out to all registrants in mid August. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicateYOUTHS, M, L orADULTS, M, L, XL, XXL). League limit: 120. All future Tiger Football Players are encouraged to participate. Practices: Tu/Th at South Junior High from 6-7:30 p.m. Games: Saturday 9/7-10/12 from 9 AM - Noon at TECH or APOLLO. Coaching:All volunteer coaches will be required to fill out a District 742 Volunteer Application Form and complete a background check prior to the start of the season. A Coaching Clinic will be provided by the Varsity Staff prior to the start of the season to help organize skills and drills. Tiny Tots Karate (Ages 6-10)

Soo Bahk Do is traditional Korean martial arts. This class is for beginners with little or no experience. Your child will learn basic blocking, striking and kicking, as well as balance, coordination and focus. This class emphasizes mind and body coordination with a theme of making good choices. Loose clothing is recommended. No shoes or socks should be worn. Karate uniforms are available, but not required. About the instructor: Bill Nelson holds an 8th Degree Black belt.

Tippi Toes Ballet, Tap, & Jazz (Ages 2-6)

Toddler Time (ages 2-3 years)

Designed to orient your toddler (accompanied by parent) to better prepare them for preschool swim lessons. Toddlers will learn to ease the transition from parent to instructor and become more comfortable with their skills and surroundings. Skills we will start focusing on are: safety, kicking, paddle, floats, and underwater exploration. This class provides a bonding experience for parents and their children. Class limit: 8. Track & Field Camp (Entering Grades 4-7)

Run, Jump, and Throw! Learn and practice the many events of track and field. We will have 6 practices and compete in 3 meets with nearby communities (Sartell, ROCORI, St. Cloud Tech) and earn ribbons for your accomplishments! A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate Youth S, M, L, XL or Adult S). Cathedral Head Track & Field Coach Rick Fleege will be the lead instructor. More detailed information will be given at the first class. Bring to class: plenty of water. Meet dates: 6/13 @ Sauk Rapids HS, 6/20 @ Tech HS, 6/24 @ Tech HS. Meet by the Tech track.

Ukulele Lessons for Beginners at Spicer Music Studio (Age 6 & up)
Special Interest
Is your child interested in music? Students as young as 6 or 7 can start ukulele. For most players, the ukulele is a better instrument to start with as they are less intimidating, cause less finger pain, are less complex, and less expensive. Ukuleles also get fun faster, which makes it easier to practice consistently. Plus, many skills are transferable to guitar if they want to learn that later. This Community Education offer includes three (3) thirty (30) minute sessions. Bring to class: your own ukulele. Spicer Music Studio contact information will be given at time of registration to schedule lessons. This Community Education offer is limited to one use per participant.

Wunderkeys...A Musical Experience at Spicer Music Studio (Ages 3 1/2-5 with Caregiver)
Special Interest
This program offers a unique musical experience tailored to meet the needs of preschool-aged children and ensures their first music lesson experience is positive and enjoyable. Your child will participate in different unique activities to keep them focused, engaged and happy. Beginners in this program start with no prior piano or music experience. They finish with solid keyboard awareness and understanding of rhythmic notation and the ability to play simple pieces with both hands. Lessons are taught one-on-one with a parent present. Instructor contact information will be given at the time of registration. Lessons last 30 minutes with a limit of three lessons per student through Community Education.
