Being Balanced & Centered: Fall Prevention Techniques
Wellness
Do you fear stumbling, tripping, slipping and falling? Join us for an introduction to understanding how your body should move. You'll learn body mechanics that will enhance your overall strength and centeredness used for everyday actions such as sitting down, getting up and walking. With this new awareness of body alignment and structure, you can repeat these motions throughout every day life. Wear loose comfortable clothing. We will practice barefoot or with socks that grip on a hardwood floor.

Blackout Poetry Art

NEW! Blackout poetry is a form of found poetry created by selecting meaningful words from a book page and then blacking out the surrounding words to “find” a new poem. We will create black out poems and use the rest of our page to create art to enhance the new poem. This form of writing is very exciting and improvisational as the poem begins appear and take form. Participants are welcome to bring their own pages or select from some provided at class! Enter Door 1.

Bodies In Motion Presents Contemporary Line Dancing

Whether you're looking to try something new, get moving, or meet fun people, Bodies In Motion is a contemporary line dancing fitness class all about having fun, spreading positive vibes, building confidence, and connecting with others. You'll dance to all genres of music, learning new routines each week that builds on previous sessions. Wear comfortable clothing and feel free to show some flair with a large clack fan or a cowboy/cowgirl hat! To add even more excitement throughout the season, participants can look forward to monthly themed nights celebrating Valentine's day (2/11), Tanika's Lucky Birthday Celebration (3/11), Spring Fling (4/15), and Almost Summer Bash (5/13). Bowling Bingo
Just For Fun
You'll enjoy an evening of fun in this class combining bowling with bingo. At the beginning of each game, you'll receive a bingo card marked with bowling terms. As you bowl, items are crossed off the card. A winning bingo card receives a prize. Tuition includes two games of bowling, shoes, and prizes.

Boxing & Kickboxing for Youth (Ages 7-15)
Health & Fitness
Your child will learn two skills at once with fitness kickboxing & boxing combined. This one-hour class is open to boys and girls of all skill levels from recreational, fitness, self-defense, as well as competitive. Participants will learn basic boxing/striking skills, proper kicking techniques, conditioning drills, and how to defend themselves. The skills taught can serve as a base for hand-eye coordination, footwork, and focus to use in other sports.

Boxing for Fitness (Men & Women)

Boxing for Fitness is for men and women whether competing or just wanting to learn the basic fundamentals of boxing while getting a great full body workout. Headgear and gloves will be provided to practice. Participants who are interested in competing can receive more information at class.

Code Championship Tournament Series: Virtual Computer Coding Competition (Grades 3-9)
Special Interest
Your child will learn how to build a computer bot to compete against other coders. Whether new or experienced, this is the perfect way for your child to explore competitive coding. The Code Championship Series is four online tournaments hosted on Google Meet. If you have a modern browser, no download is required. Players must be able to navigate the internet. The Google Meet link will be emailed two days before the tournament.

Cookie Decorating Class (Grades K-6)

Let your creativity bloom in this sweet springtime workshop designed just for young bakers! In Pastel Petals Cookie Decorating, kids will learn the basics of cookie design using soft pastel colors, floral themes, and fun icing techniques. From pretty petals to adding sparkly details, each participant will decorate their own set of sugar cookies to take home and share (or keep all to themselves—we won’t tell!). This hands-on class encourages artistic expression, builds kitchen confidence, and celebrates the joy of spring through sugar and smiles. Cricut Crafting For Beginners

NEW! Cricut is an electronic cutting machine used to personalize and create crafts from materials like paper, vinyl, and fabric. With over six years of Cricut experience, instructor Sheri Layne-Laramie will guide participants through its many creative applications and help everyone gain confidence using the Cricut's free Design Space software. In the final class, participants will enjoy hands-on practice with a Cricut machine, and create a small personalized project to take home. Participants should bring a laptop, tablet, or smartphone with Designspace installed. Enter door 1.

DASH Sports basketball camps provide players with a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Your child will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Camp ends with scrimmages/games on the final day. Basketballs are provided. DASH Sports Basketball Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of basketball through fun skill-based drills and mini-games. Players will be taught how to properly dribble, pass, shoot, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Basketballs are provided. Bring to class: water bottle. Parent participation is required for 2-3 year olds and recommended when needed for 4-6 year olds. Enter door 1.

DASH Sports flag football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced each class, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day where players can showcase their skills. Footballs and other equipment are provided. Athletes should dress for the weather. Bring to class: a water bottle (spikes/cleats, and mouthguards are optional). Meet at the outdoor fields.
