At this driver improvement course, you’ll discuss challenges drivers face, new road designs, vehicle technology, and updates to current laws. There are no written or behind the wheel tests, and a certificate of completion will be provided at the end of class. Class is taught as a presentation from a certified instructor. Participants age 55+ who complete this course can get a 10% auto insurance premium discount. Please remember to bring water, coffee, or snacks to enjoy during class. Enter door 1.

The American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid program helps you recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, automated external defibrillator (AED), breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children and infants. This program will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid certification card that is valid for two years. The certification will be emailed within a few days after completion. This class is suitable for participants as young as 11 years of age and must have the strength to compress a CPR manikin two inches. Enter door 1.

Apollo Swim Camp is open to anyone who is kindergarten through 6th grade, and can comfortably and independently swim in the shallow end, at a minimum. We will work on skills needed for each participant, from basic swimming skills to competitive swimming skills. * For scholarships, contact Coach Shanley at evan.shanley@isd742.org Transportation: Activity bus from North to Apollo (for 6th graders only). No activity bus from Kennedy (no supervision of participants available). Parents will be required to pick up students at the end of the camp at Apollo, door 11. Students must provide their own suits and towels. Goggles and swim caps are highly recommended, but not required.

Designed to orient your child (accompanied by parent) to better prepare them for Toddler Swim lessons. Parents will learn safety information and techniques to help your child feel comfortable in the water. This class provides a bonding experience for parents and their children. Class limit: 12. NEW! Do you want to learn some basic 1st aid and safety skills? If so, then this is the class for you! In this class you will learn some basic 1st aid and safety skills for treating a minor cut, burn or even an insect bite. You will also learn skills on how to stay safe in your home and recognize if you or someone else needs emergency care.

Skills taught include safety topics, water adjustments, kicking and floating with support, front and back paddle, breath control and completely submerging. Parents do not need to get into the water with their child. Class limit: 4. Lessons at Tech: Enter Door 2

Whether you're looking to try something new, get moving, or meet fun people, Bodies In Motion is a contemporary line dancing fitness class all about having fun, spreading positive vibes, building confidence, and connecting with others. You'll dance to all genres of music, learning new routines each week that builds on previous sessions. Wear comfortable clothing and feel free to show some flair with a large clack fan or a cowboy/cowgirl hat! To add even more excitement throughout the season, participants can look forward to monthly themed nights celebrating Valentine's day (2/11), Tanika's Lucky Birthday Celebration (3/11), Spring Fling (4/15), and Almost Summer Bash (5/13). Boxing for Fitness is for men and women whether competing or just wanting to learn the basic fundamentals of boxing while getting a great full body workout. Headgear and gloves will be provided to practice. Participants who are interested in competing can receive more information at class.

Your child will learn how to build a computer bot to compete against other coders. Whether new or experienced, this is the perfect way for your child to explore competitive coding. The Code Championship Series is four online tournaments hosted on Google Meet. If you have a modern browser, no download is required. Players must be able to navigate the internet. The Google Meet link will be emailed two days before the tournament.

Relax on a chilly Saturday morning with a warm cup of special blended coffee or hot chocolate, a delicious pastry, and a few friendly games of UNO with friends. Tuition includes a pastry and a hot drink. Enter door 1.

Let your creativity bloom in this sweet springtime workshop designed just for young bakers! In Pastel Petals Cookie Decorating, kids will learn the basics of cookie design using soft pastel colors, floral themes, and fun icing techniques. From pretty petals to adding sparkly details, each participant will decorate their own set of sugar cookies to take home and share (or keep all to themselves—we won’t tell!). This hands-on class encourages artistic expression, builds kitchen confidence, and celebrates the joy of spring through sugar and smiles.
