NEW! Are you looking for a place to play Mah Jongg and connect with others who love the game? We're working to grow a local Mah Jongg community to offer additional open play opportunities. If you're interested, sign up to be added to our Mah Jongg email list. We'll keep you informed about upcoming open play times across our facilities and help connect you with others so you can coordinate when to attend. Whether you're a recent class participant or an experienced player looking for a group, we’d love to have you join! Mah Jongg open play will cost $4 a session or $60 for 20-punches.

Herbalism: Making Your Own Herbal Remedy Capsules

You'll learn a brief history of herbalism and study the potential health benefits of many herbal ingredients. You'll also receive step-by-step instructions to make 100 of your own herbal remedy capsules to take home. Historical Tour and Tea at the Foley Mansion
Life
Step back in time with a guided tour of St. Cloud's historic Foley Mansion, a stunning Richardsonian home built in 1897–1898 by lumber and railroad baron Timothy Foley. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1978, this beautiful Victorian home has risen from the ashes of a debilitating fire and has been returned to its original grandeur. Your guide will take you through the restoration of the home as well as the daily living of the family in the Victorian era. After the tour, enjoy a lovely cup of tea, coffee or cider, and a delicious German style dessert. Staring November 1, the mansion will be beautifully decorated for Christmas. Handicap accessible for walkers and wheelchairs with a ramp and elevator.

Home-Baked Soft Subs & Hawaiian Roll Sliders
Food
NEW! In this online cooking class, you’ll learn to make both soft submarine sandwiches and Hawaiian roll sliders entirely from scratch. Once the doughs are perfected, the sub rolls will be transformed into irresistible submarine sandwiches layered with bold spreads, zesty vinaigrette, and fresh fixings, while the Hawaiian rolls are turned into golden sliders, filled with savory and melted flavors brushed with buttery garlic glaze. You can even adjust the sweetness of your Hawaiian rolls to match your personal taste. Equipment Needs: A stand mixer with dough hook is recommended to save time and effort if making both types of dough. However, participants are welcome to knead by hand if preferred. Participants will receive a list of ingredients five days prior to class to allow enough time for shopping and preparation. The full recipe will be sent out a few days after class.

Horse Day Camp (Ages 6-15)

Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders!Camps are held rain or shine. Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layers, depending on weather. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided and required to be worn. Signed waiver forms are required and the link will be emailed to participants once they have registered for the camp. Bring to class: sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, nut-free snack and lunch. Camp is located in Anoka, MN. PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day.

Ice, Ice Everywhere: A Smart Salting Solution

We like ice on our lakes for fishing but not on our driveways causing slipping. The most common technique to get rid of it is using salt, but the overapplication of salt is causing pollution problems in our bodies of water. Chloride is a pollutant that’s almost impossible to remove once it’s in a lake or stream. Road and sidewalk safety is a must, but it doesn’t have to come at the price of good water quality. Join us to learn about the chloride problem and how you can make a difference.

Intro to 3D Printing (Grades 3-6)

This 3D printing camp takes students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Your child will design their own keychains! No 3D printing experience is necessary, but familiarity with common tasks like using a computer and keyboarding is required. One design will be printed offline and mailed home. Home Technical Requirements: Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones typically DO NOT Work. Internet: Broadband internet. Webcam, Microphone and Speakers. Zoom Installed on Computer, zoom link will be sent before class. Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard. Have your child experience the modern twist of the art of axe throwing. They’ll spend time learning the basic techniques that improve precision and accuracy before using those axe-throwing skills in some fun games. Participants will leave with a better understanding and get some time testing out their driving skills on a few different types of RC Cars. Introduction to Shoulder & Foot Massage

This hands-on class provides the opportunity for partners or close friends to learn basic techniques and experience some of the benefits of massage. Physician’s approval is requested if you have an upper back or neck injury. As this class involves learning massage techniques through hands-on practice, participants must sign up with a close friend or partner. Both participants must be registered. Introduction to Tai Chi Chuan

Learn the principles of body movement to improve your health, balance, and stamina through the Yang Cheng Fu system of T’ai Chi. This solo exercise can be done anywhere and offers multiple benefits including increased concentration, coordination, muscle flexibility, and strength, as well as improved circulation. Practicing T’ai Chi daily with its slow, gentle movements and deep breathing can reduce stress and lower blood pressure. The Wednesday AM session is provided for women. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and nonslip stockings or practice barefoot.

Junior Crush Softball Camp (Grades 1-5)

Open to girls in grades 1–5, this camp focuses on developing core softball skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Players will work on hitting, fielding, and overall softball fundamentals through small-group instruction and age-appropriate drills designed to build confidence and improve game performance. Enter door 11. What to Bring: Glove, bat, helmet, and water bottle. There is equipment available to use if your child does not have their own.
