Apollo Swim Camp (Grades K-6)
Apollo Swim Camp is open to anyone who is kindergarten through 6th grade, and can comfortably and independently swim in the shallow end, at a minimum. We will work on skills needed for each participant, from basic swimming skills to competitive swimming skills.* For scholarships, contact Coach Shanley at evan.shanley@isd742.orgTransportation: Activity bus from North to Apollo (for 6th graders only). No activity bus from Kennedy (no supervision of participants available). Parents will be required to pick up students at the end of the camp at Apollo, door 11. Students must provide their own suits and towels. Goggles and swim caps are highly recommended, but not required.

DASH Flag Football Camp (Grades 1-5)
Recreation
DASH Sports flag football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack (spikes/cleats, and mouthguards are optional). Football and other equipment is provided.

DASH Flag Football Tykes

DASH Sports flag football tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old class and recommended when needed for the 4-5 year old class.

DASH Outdoor Soccer Skills Camp (Grades 1-5)

DASH Sports soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills training (dribbling, passing, shooting, & defense) and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final two days. Bring to class: water bottle (shin guards are optional). Soccer balls are provided.

Key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and base-running will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Bring to class: water bottle and a baseball glove. Baseballs and bats are provided.

Is your child looking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes camp introduces players to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and base running. The final day of classes is ‘Game Day’ and athletes will showcase their skills in a game environment. Bring to class: water bottle and baseball glove. Baseballs and bats are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old group and recommended when needed for the 4-6 year old group. Meet at ball fields behind school.

DASH Track & Field Camp (Grades 1-5)

DASH Sports Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: Sprinting, javelin throwing, shotput, relay running, jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should bring a water bottle and wear athletic shoes. Meet by the outside fields.

DASH Sports Track & Field Tykes camps provide participants with a basic introduction into Track & Field events. Participants will learn and practice how to correctly run, jump, and throw. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall athletic ability & performance. Bring to class: water bottle, snack, and wear athletic shoes.

District 6th graders can join HS golf practice. Changes daily depending on weather. Practice information will be communicated by the coaches. There will be transportation to practices. Students will need a ride home.

Get Outdoors, MN: Youth Park Play: Full-Day Experiences (Ages 4-12)
Recreation
Parents, enjoy a day to yourselves while your child has fun in the great outdoors! Our licensed staff will facilitate learning experiences using the play-based learning approach. Park Play camps are committed to offering the balance of self-directed and self-driven learning through inquiry, play, and freedoms to design & create. Campers can expect to engage in healthy risk-taking, “soft”/”essential”/”life” skills (i.e. the interpersonal attributes of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creation). *Child must be toilet trained.

Tippi Toes Dance: Ballet, Tap, & Jazz (Ages 2-6)

This class incorporates a mix of three types of dance using high-energy music while encouraging self-expression and creativity. Students learn choreography to multiple dances throughout the season. Opportunity to participate in our spring recital.
