Get Outdoors: Hike @ Night (Families: All ages)

Join us for a unique and exhilarating experience under the stars. You will go for a guided nighttime hike that will take you on a journey through the wonders of the dark. All hikes are guided, and glow sticks are provided to create a magical atmosphere. What's a nighttime adventure without a delicious treat? Enjoy a s'more smorgasbord around the campfire as you listen to the sounds of the night. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Get Outdoors: Park Play Day Camp (Ages 4-12)

Parents, enjoy a FULL day to yourselves while your child has fun in the great outdoors! Our licensed staff will facilitate learning experiences using the play-based learning approach. Park Play camps are committed to offering the balance of self-directed and self-driven learning through inquiry, play, and freedoms to design & create. Campers can expect to engage in healthy risk-taking, “soft”/”essential”/”life” skills (i.e. the interpersonal attributes of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creation). Participants must be toilet trained in order to participate.

St. Cloud Crush Dance Team Youth Clinic (Grades PreK -6)

Your child can dance with the St. Cloud Crush Dance Team for their annual kids clinic! Crush dance team and coaches will be teaching a fun dance routine that participants will perform later that evening at halftime of the Apollo High School Varsity football game. They will perform again at the Crush Dance Show being held on Saturday, November 9. Tuition includes juice, pizza, and snacks. Please pack a drink, snack and dinner if your child has allergies. Please register by September 27, 2024 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Participants should wear comfortable clothes to practice in. For performances, your child should wear black or dark pants or leggings and clinic t-shirt. Please dress your child for the weather at the football game after class. Bring to class: water bottle. Enter door 7. Performance details will follow: Clinic/Class: Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4:15-6:30p.m., participants stay to dance at halftime of the Apollo football game. Crush Dance Show: Saturday, November 9 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. (details to follow)

Tech Cross Country-6th Grade

Running program designed to introduce 6th graders to the sport of cross country, increase their running ability, have fun, and develop athletic endurance. This program is open to any 6th grade students at South who are interested in learning about Cross Country. This is a two day per week program, with a few events outside of those two days. Athletes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays and will have around 4 TBD meets. *Athletes are welcome to practice more days/week at their discretion. This class incorporates a mix of three types of dance using high-energy music while encouraging self-expression and creativity. Students learn choreography to multiple dances throughout the season. Opportunity to participate in our "Enchanted Winter" Recital.
