  • Apollo Youth Football (Entering Grades K-4)

    Youth football for younger players is back! This touch/flag football league is a great way for your child to be introduced to the game of football! Games will be played on Saturday mornings at Apollo. Your child will learn basic football skills like passing, running, and catching from the Apollo coaches and varsity football players. Following the skills session, players will compete in a game each Saturday. Each child will practice valuable life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship in an enthusiastic learning environment. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate Youth XS, S, M, L or Adult S, M, L, XL, XXL).   • Apollo Youth Football Camp (Entering Grades K-8)

    Hutt one, hutt two! We want to see you in Red, White, and Blue! Your child can make their way to the Apollo Eagle non-contact youth football camp and experience a fun opportunity to learn and develop the fundamentals of football. Your child will work with the Apollo coaches and varsity football players learning blocking, tackling, ball security, offensive and defensive line techniques, and how to run proper pass routes. There will be many opportunities for them to participate in competitions with prizes awarded. Players should dress according to the weather (t-shirts and shorts are suggested). Players do not need pads to attend this camp. Cleats are not required but can be worn.   • Apollo Youth Tackle Football League - (Entering Grades 5 & 6)

    The Apollo Youth Tackle Football League is back for another successful season! This is a padded, full-contact league offered to students attending Discovery, Kennedy, Madison, Westwood, Lincoln, and North Junior High. All players must be entering 5th or 6th grade for the 2024-2025 school year. Your child will learn the basic football skills of blocking and tackling. In addition, your child will practice valuable life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship in an enthusiastic learning environment. Practices will be held two times per week at Apollo High School in the evenings and games will be played on Saturday mornings. Bring to football league: shoes, mouth guard, and plenty of water. Pads and other equipment will be provided. Scholarships: All Northside players are encouraged to participate in football. Coaching: If you are interested in coaching, please note that you will be required to fill out a District 742 Volunteer Application Form and complete a background check before the start of the season. There will be a coaching meeting/training, run by the Varsity coaching staff before the start of the season in early August for those interested. Note: Practices: Tu/Th from 6-7:30 p.m. and one Saturday practice on 9/7 at 9:00 a.m. The first day of practice is scheduled for Tuesday, September 3rd.   • DASH Basketball Tykes (Ages 2-7)

    DASH Sports Basketball Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of basketball through fun skill-based drills and mini-games. Players will be taught how to properly dribble, pass, shoot, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Bring to class: water bottle & wear athletic clothing & shoes. Basketballs are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group. Enter door 5.
  • DASH Flag Football Camp (Grades 1-5)

    DASH Sports Summer Flag Football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Athletes should wear sunscreen. Bring to class: water bottle, sunscreen, a peanut-free snack (spikes/cleats and mouthguards are optional). Flag belts and footballs are provided.
  • DASH Flag Football Tykes (Ages 2-7)

    DASH Sports flag football Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Bring to class: water bottle and wear athletic clothing & shoes (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.
  • DASH Track & Field Camp (Grades 1-5)

    DASH Sports Summer Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: sprinting, throwing (javelin and shot put), relay running, long jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. All players will be timed/tested on the first and last day. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should wear sunscreen. Bring to class: water bottle, sunscreen, nut-free snack, and wear athletic clothing/shoes. Meet by the track.
  • DASH Volleyball Skills Camp (Grades 1-5)

    DASH Sports Summer Volleyball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key volleyball skills such as passing, serving, and hitting will be taught and practiced throughout the week. Fun, volleyball skill specific games are also incorporated, giving players game type experience, and a better understanding of the game! The final day of camp ends with scrimmages and games for players to showcase their skills. Bring to class: water bottle and nut-free snack (knee pads optional). Volleyballs are provided.   • HIKEhoppers Youth Park Play: Week-long Camps (Ages 8-13)

    Explore the Outdoors! Empower your child to embark on their unique learning journey through exploration, adventure, creation, design, and engineering this summer at HIKEhoppers’ Park Play Week-long Camp. This camp includes daily exploratory learning and team-building activities, art creations, building & construction projects, and guided team hikes. Registration is limited as hand tools will be used under the direct supervision of adults.
  • Introduction to BMX Racing: Community Education Nights (Ages 5-12 with Caregiver)

    Community Education nights are great opportunities for anyone who’s never tried BMX the chance to get on a bike and try it out for FREE! Our certified and experienced coaches can help your riders get comfortable with the sport and learn some of the fundamentals necessary to gain confidence on the track. Bikes and helmets are available for anyone who may need one. Check out one of the many opportunities to try BMX, FREE!
  • Tech Summer Youth Football Camp (Entering Grades 3-8)

    TECH TIGER SUMMER FOOTBALL CAMP (entering grades 3-8) Play football, have fun! Your child will enjoy expert coaching from our experienced staff and players. Surprise special guests will join us each night of camp. Campers will be drilled daily on basic ball skills, take-away skills and pursuit fundamentals. Players will develop position specific skills and techniques through competitive drills, contests and passing scrimmages. Our 4-day camp is non-contact with an emphasis on safety, fun and learning to play football like a Tech Tiger. A t-shirt will be provided. (please indicate YOUTH S, M, L or ADULT S, M, L, XL, XXL).     This program is an engaging introduction to the TRADITION of St. Cloud Tech Tiger Football. Your Tech Football Player will spend time each session working on basic ball skills, take-away skills and pursuit fundamentals. Each session will conclude with players dividing into groups (K-2 and 3-4) for team games like 7 on 7 Flag Football and Tiger Ball. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate YOUTH S, M, L or ADULT S, M, L, XL, XXL). Tech High School coaches and players will be leading the instruction and coaching the teams. All future Tiger Football Players are encouraged to participate.   • Tiger Youth Tackle Football (Entering Grades 5 & 6)

    Come join the Tech Football Family! This is a padded, full contact football league offered to students at Clearview, Lincoln, Oak Hill, Talahi and South Junior High Schools who will be entering the 5th and 6th grades for the 2024-25 school year. Practices are held twice a week in the evenings and games are played on Saturday mornings. The season starts in late August and runs through mid October. There are approximately 15-20 players per team. Students will learn the Tech Tiger fundamentals of blocking and tackling, develop both ball skills and take-away skills, and learn the offensive and defensive schemes and techniques used at Tech. Sportsmanship and teamwork will beemphasized throughout. 6th graders attending South Jr. High should sign up for the school they attended as 5th graders. Pads and other equipment will be provided. An informational letter will go out to all registrants in mid August. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicateYOUTHS, M, L orADULTS, M, L, XL, XXL). League limit: 120.
