Flow + Restore Yoga
You'll enjoy a flow class with a moderate pace and intensity with a focus on connecting breath with movement. The teachers prepare a sequence of postures that include a mix of stability, balance and mobility, linked with functional transitions and breath. There will be at least 10 minutes dedicated to meditation time (not including savasana), using various meditation techniques such as guided, visualization, or silent seated meditation with a slow, flowing sequence in the ambience of candlelight. Open to all levels of experience. Bring to class: yoga mat and water.

Flapjack & Sasquatches: The Dice Game - Use the Sasquatch dice and push your luck! December 17th: Cross Clues - Think carefully about your single word clues to fill the grid! 5 Minute Dungeon - You have five chaotic minutes to defeat dungeon monsters! 1304-24F4 (Escape Room) January's class features escape room style games: January 7th: Unlock - Search scenes for clues to solve your objective!

Introduction To Chess (13+)

Chess is a complete brain workout that embodies elements of art, science and sport. Beginner and intermediate players will expand their skills, develop strategy, improve pattern recognition and even relieve some stress. Participants are encouraged to bring their own chess sets and a notebook. About the Instructor: Mr. Long Chen has placed in the top three in chess tournaments in Laredo, TX; St. Cloud, MN; and Berlin, Germany since age nine. He has a Lichess rating of 2100+ in both Blitz and Rapid formats.

Learn to Play Dungeons & Dragons

NEW! Have you ever wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons? Come explore the exciting world of Granite Crossing, a unique setting crafted by the instructor herself. Designed for newcomers, these sessions will focus on the fundamentals of Dungeons & Dragons, 5th Edition. Players are encouraged to embody the spirit of heroes, fostering an environment of good sportsmanship and positivity. All players will leave with a set of dice and dice bag. About the instructor: Dawn Marinaro is a board game professional and a seasoned Game Master with over 20 years of experience in teaching new players the art of role-playing games. November 9th and December 7th sessions: participants choose from pre-made characters. January 11th session: participants have the opportunity to create their own characters if desired. Come ready to embark on epic adventures and forge unforgettable memories!

Music Lessons for Adults - Beginner, Intermediate or Beyond

Do you want to learn how to play guitar, bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, or ukulele? Led by Steve Cekalla's Guitar and Music School, these professionally-led group lessons are matched to your skill level. You’ll receive three virtual 30-minute group lessons that is fun for beginners, or a more technique and theory-focused for those with instrument experience. Bring to class: your own instrument, however a limited number of guitars are available if requested prior to the start of classes. Contact information to schedule classes will be given at the time of registration.

Pottery for Adults: Beginner or Intermediate (16+)

Whether you are new to clay or have some previous experience, you'll improve your skills with art teacher Melanie Pattay. Beginners will start with the basics of throwing cups, bowls, and plates. More experienced potters can expand on their skills with larger pieces, adding handles, lids, and manipulating pieces after throwing. Three sessions will focus on wheel throwing, while the final session is reserved for painting your pieces in a watercolor style. Items will be fired after the final class and available for pickup at the Community Ed office. Participants will take home up to 5 finished pieces.
