NEW! Are you looking for a place to play Mah Jongg and connect with others who love the game? We're working to grow a local Mah Jongg community to offer additional open play opportunities. If you're interested, sign up to be added to our Mah Jongg email list. We'll keep you informed about upcoming open play times across our facilities and help connect you with others so you can coordinate when to attend. Whether you're a recent class participant or an experienced player looking for a group, we’d love to have you join! Mah Jongg open play will cost $4 a session or $60 for 20-punches.

Special Opportunities
This group offers activities for children from birth to age 5, led by a licensed early childhood teacher. A licensed parent educator will also facilitate a parent discussion group, with topics based on family needs and interests. Recognizing the challenges faced by family members of all ages and stages, this group aspires to create a safe and welcoming space to explore questions, concerns, and hopes. This group is especially intended for families with one or more members who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning (LGBTQ+). We recognize that families come in many forms, and all are welcome—including allies and extended family members.

3D Needle-Felted Snowman

NEW! Using barbed needles with Merino and Corriedale wools, participants will learn the art of needle-felting by creating a three dimensional snowman. Make it your own by adding a hat, or scarf and other creative details. Enter Door 1.

3D Printing: Nintendo (Grades 3-7)
Special Interest
Your child will create Nintendo-inspired characters using TinkerCAD while learning 3D design skills. They'll also do fun Nintendo-inspired challenges and create themed video games. One to two student-designed projects will be printed and sent home. Printing and material fees are included. Home Technical Requirements: Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones typically DO NOT work. Broadband internet, webcam, microphone and speakers. Zoom Installed on Computer, zoom link will be sent before class. Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard. There are no written or behind the wheel tests, and a certificate of completion will be provided at the end of class. Class is taught as a presentation from a certified instructor. Participants age 55+ who complete this course can get a 10% auto insurance premium discount. Enter door 1.

A Trip to the Casino

Enjoy an outing with friends at Grand Casino Mille Lacs. Don’t forget your good luck charms! Meet at North Junior High School for group transportation to the casino. There is limited seating on the bus for wheelchairs. Must be at least 18-years old to register for this class. Tuition includes transportation. Bring to class: money for gambling and food. ACT Prep Seminar (Grades 11 & 12)
Special Interest
This seminar is for students of all ability levels and will enable each student to prepare for the ACT college admission test. Participants gain valuable insight into the ACT through a close examination of each question. The workshop teaches students those strategies necessary for answering specific question types and general test taking tips. Suggestions for post seminar test preparation will also be shared. Class fee includes a study guide and 24 practice tests. Enrollment is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Please bring a water bottle, snacks, calculator and two pencils to the seminar. This is intended for the Initial Contact form for the ARISE program. Please complete one form per child to be considered for ARISE. Important note! There is no charge for submitting this form, but you must complete the checkout to be enrolled. You must also receive a confirmation email upon checkout or your student will not be considered as a candidate for ARISE.

ARISE Services
ARISE (A Recreational Inclusion Support Endeavor) provides support for children with disabilities so they can access community recreation and leisure activities with their peers. ARISE serves children and young adults (Birth to 21) with any type of disability. Participants must reside in Stearns, Benton or Sherburne Counties, within a 30 mile radius of St. Cloud. ARISE coordinators work with families to determine the needs of each child and to personalize services. They determine if services can be provided based on the availability of qualified staff. All families must complete an Initial Contact form.

The American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid program helps you recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, automated external defibrillator (AED), breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children and infants. This program will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid certification card that is valid for two years. The certification will be emailed within a few days after completion. Enter door 1.

For parents and children 3 years to kindergarten entry age. Classes include parent-child playtime, time for parents to observe their young children playing in an early childhood learning center, and time to discuss parenting concerns with other parents and a teacher. Child guidance and parent support are provided by teachers licensed in early childhood and parent education. This class will separate to a parent education room for parent discussion.
