Flow + Restore Yoga
NEW! You'll enjoy a flow class with a moderate pace and intensity with a focus on connecting breath with movement. The teachers prepare a sequence of postures that include a mix of stability, balance and mobility, linked with functional transitions and breath. There will be at least 10 minutes dedicated to meditation time (not including savasana), using various meditation techniques such as guided, visualization, or silent seated meditation with a slow, flowing sequence in the ambience of candlelight. Open to all levels of experience. Bring to class: yoga mat and water.

Nature Journaling (Age 3 & Up with Adult)
Special Interest
NEW! Getting outside and making observations is one of the best ways to get your child excited about science and learning about natural resources. This interactive activity allows them to enhance their appreciation for the outdoors and gives them the tools to do it. PREP - Personal, Readiness & Endurance (ages 12-14)

Participants will focus on building endurance and getting prepared for the Lifeguard Training and Water Safety Instructor courses. Class limit: 6. Paint at Home: Pet Painting Kit (Ages 10 & Up)

NEW! In this paint-at-home activity, participants will paint an artist-created image of their own pet! Participants will submit a photo of a beloved pet and the Gray Duck artists will get to work creating your one-of-a-kind pet paint-by-number. This piece will then be sent with all supplies needed to complete your piece on your own time. Specific instructions and email address to submit image will be provided after registration is completed. NOTE: Images will be drawn and sent out in July and August, respectively. Please keep this in mind when signing up. There is an additional charge for a 2nd pet of $25.00. These lessons are 25 minutes long and will meet 8 times. Private lessons are designed to give any participant the individualized attention necessary in order to improve or master swimming skills. Together, the instructor, participants and/or parent determine the goals for the session and the curriculum is customized in order to meet those goals. RC Wars (Grades 3-8)

In RC Wars, teams of students will build their own Remote Control vehicles to race and battle against other teams. Students will need to design their vehicles to not only be faster and stronger than other teams’ creations, but also better than purchased RC Cars and Drones! RC Wars will feature land and air races, obstacle courses and more as students learn mechanical and electrical building skills in an energetic and exciting environment. Enter door 1.

Running Adventures & Apollo Cross Country Practice (Grades 5-12)

It’s time to get off the beaten path and do some trail running! We will visit a different County/Regional/State parks each session. Participants need to be able to run at least 2 miles continuously. (June Beginner and Intermediate Distance Running is a great way to get ready!) Some locations will include an opportunity to swim. Participants who choose to swim must wear a life jacket. Contact the coach if you need a life jacket. Practices will be in conjunction with the Apollo High School Cross Country Running team. Meet at door 11 @ Apollo. Tentative Locations: Sand Dunes State Forest, Bertram Regional Park, Elm Creek Park Preserve, Kraemer Lake Park, Lake Rebecca, Lindbergh State Park Sign-up Options No transportation needed - FREE (Unlimited participants) Transportation from Discovery, Apollo, North, YMCA - Also Free! Spanish Class for Youth (Grades 1-12)

Spanish Class for Youth is an introductory class for youth of all ages, to learn the basics of the Spanish language or build on prior knowledge. Grades 1-5 will learn the basics of Spanish (alphabet, greetings, colors, numbers, family members, basic school/household supplies, and learn to form basic sentences, etc) through this engaging online course. Students will be given the opportunity to practice speaking and listening to Spanish through interactive games and activities online. Grades 6-8 will learn the basics of Spanish (alphabet, greetings, colors, numbers, family members, basic school/household supplies, and learn to form basic sentences which aid in communicating in the past, present, and future, etc) through this engaging online course. Students will be given the opportunity to practice speaking and listening to Spanish through online, interactive games and activities. Grades 9-12 will learn the basics of Spanish (alphabet, greetings, colors, numbers, family members, basic school/household supplies, and learn to form basic sentences which aid in communicating in the past, present, and future, present progressive verbs (-ing), etc) through this engaging online course. Students will be given the opportunity to practice speaking and listening to Spanish through interactive games and activities online.

Splatter Painting with Emotion in Motion (Ages 6 & Up)

NEW! At this crafty class, your child will make a large (16x20) canvas with their name on it. We'll put on an apron and goggles and listen to fun music while we splatter the canvas full of paint, glitter, and confetti. There will be special lighting effects in the paint room for a completely immersive experience. Dress for a mess!

Spring Roll Symphony: Crafting Crispy & Fresh Spring Roll Delights (Adult or Youth with Adult Supervision)

NEW! No need to look beyond your own kitchen for restaurant quality spring rolls! Whether you are looking to host a memorable Dim Sum get-together or simply want to create something fresh and bright to welcome in the spring, this is the class you have been looking for! Choice of meat (chicken or pork) & veggies will fill the crispy spring rolls, and fresh veggie and precooked protein of choice will fill the fresh spring rolls. Two types of wrappers will be used. Participants will be able to customize filling ingredients and seasonings according to their taste or dietary preferences and will learn the techniques to create fillings, and how to wrap, roll, and cook both types of rolls! Freezing and reheating tips will also be shared! If children are participating, adult supervision is required. You'll be emailed recipes and a list of ingredients and supplies needed for the icing approximately one week prior to class to provide time for shopping and baking. NOTE: One registration fee for this virtual class can include participants living full-time in the same household ONLY.

Welcome to St. Cloud Jr. Tennis! This program includes three youth levels addressing skill development at each level. Levels 1-3 are introductory to beginning levels. In level one (ages 7-8) students work on athletic skills, motor skills, tennis skills, and the ability to rally with another player. Level two (ages 9-10) includes students working on athletic skills, tennis skills, rally skills, and will apply skills in a game situation when ready. In level three (ages 11 & up) the participants will rally and work on strategies including the use of forehand, backhand, volley, and serve with actual game play involved. Monday evening classes are combined levels 1/2, and 2/3. (Racquets available or bring your own).

Stepping Into Success-Step Dancing (ages 12-18)

NEW! Stepping, or Step-Dancing, is a form of percussive dance in the African American culture. Your child will learn how to use their entire body as an instrument to produce complex rhythms and sounds through a mixture of footsteps, spoken word, and hand claps. Stepping Into Success class is designed to uplift and encourage 12-18 year old teenagers to move their bodies in a fun/different way through creative routines and affirmations. This program can build confidence while promoting positivity by connecting all ethnicities and backgrounds to break barriers by "stepping away" forms of negativity. Enter door 5.
