  • Horse 3-Day Camp (Ages 6-17)

    Your child will experience a mini-week long camp. Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn including activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, grooming and caring for the horses (including bathing) and feeding them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena with no trails and consists of learning how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Camps are held rain or shine. There is an outdoor and indoor arena. Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layers, depending on weather. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided and required to be worn. Signed waiver forms are required and the link will be emailed to participants once they have registered for the camp. Bring to class: sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, nut-free snack and lunch.   • My Little Horse Camp (Ages 2-5 with Caregiver)

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet several different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. Camps are held rain or shine. There is an outdoor and indoor arena. Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layers, depending on weather. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided and required to be worn. This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. Signed waiver forms are required and the link will be emailed to participants once they have registered for the camp. Bring to class: sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle and a nut-free snack. Participants may have the opportunity to make horse treats, do a craft, and play games along with time to meet and care for the horses. Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, perfect for new or experienced riders. Camps are held rain or shine. Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layers, depending on weather. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided and required to be worn. At the end of the week, parents and family are invited to a performance to see what their camper has been learning! Riding takes up about 1 hour per day in an arena with no trails and consists of learning how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Proper attire is required including sneakers or boots (closed toe with a heel) and long pants and layers, depending on weather. ASTM/SEI certified helmets are required for all participants and will be provided. Signed waiver forms are required and will be sent to participants once they have registered for the camp. NOTE: Drop-off is at 9 a.m. and pickup is 3 p.m. each day Monday through Friday (parents are not permitted to stay for the day). A “show” for the parents will be held on Fridays of weeklong camps at 1:30 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to take pictures, watch your child ride, and meet the horse they worked with during the week!
