NEW! North Indian food has bold and rich flavors from ghee, cream, and spices. Participants will learn how to layer these flavors through making delicious chicken tikka masala, aloo masala, spiced rice, and tomato raita from home in this online class. Participants receive a list of ingredients 5 days prior to class to allow enough time for shopping and preparation.

Become a Pokémon Master of 3D Design! Design your own unique 3D Pokémon using TinkerCAD. Explore your creativity and experiment with SimLab and create themed video games. Learn the basics of CAD modeling and design software. One of your creations will be 3D printed. Apollo Youth Flag Football League (Entering Grades K-4)

Youth football for younger players is back! This touch/flag football league is a great way for your child to be introduced to the game of football! Games will be played on Saturday mornings at Apollo High School in St. Cloud, MN. Your child will learn basic football skills like passing, running, and catching from the Apollo coaches and varsity football players. Following the skills session, players will compete in a game each Saturday. Each child will practice valuable life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship in an enthusiastic learning environment. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate Youth XS, S, M, L or Adult S, M, L, XL, XXL). Bring to class: plenty of water. Please meet by the football field on the South side of Apollo. Apollo Youth Football Camp (Entering Grades 1-6)

Hutt one, hutt two! We want to see you in Red, White, and Blue! Your child can make their way to the Apollo Eagle non-contact youth football camp in St. Cloud, MN and experience a fun opportunity to learn and develop the fundamentals of football. Your child will work with the Apollo coaches and varsity football players learning blocking, tackling, ball security, offensive and defensive line techniques, and how to run proper pass routes. Players should dress according to the weather (t-shirts and shorts are suggested). Players do not need pads to attend this camp. Cleats are not required but can be worn. Bring to camp: plenty of water. Please meet on the Northside of the school by door 12. Apollo Youth Tackle Football League - (Entering Grades 5 & 6)

The Apollo Youth Tackle Football League is back for another successful season! This is a padded, full-contact league offered to students attending Discovery, Kennedy, Madison, Westwood, Lincoln, and North Junior High in St. Cloud, MN. All players must be entering 5th or 6th grade for the 2025-2026 school year. Your child will learn the basic football skills of blocking and tackling. In addition, your child will practice valuable life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship in an enthusiastic learning environment Practices will be held two times per week at Apollo High School in the evenings and games will be played on Saturday mornings. Bring to football league: shoes, mouth guard, and plenty of water. Pads and other equipment will be provided. Meet at the Apollo Football Fields. There will be a coaching meeting/training, run by the Varsity coaching staff before the start of the season in early August for those interested. Note: Practices: Tu/Th from 6-7:30 p.m. and one Saturday practice on 9/6 at 9:00 a.m. The first day of practice is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2nd. Axe Throwing Lessons for Youth (Ages 13-17)

Your child can learn the modern twist of axe throwing. This activity is empowering and enjoyable. We'll learn precision and accuracy in this four-week class of lessons and games throwing axes, and participants will refine their axe-throwing skills until they can throw axes with amazing precision. BMX New Rider League (Ages 5 & Up)

Rider Race league is an introduction to the rewarding sport of BMX. Included in the program is a full year membership for USA BMX allowing the rider to participate in any event at any track in the United States, four coached lessons with our experienced riders teaching the fundamentals of BMX racing, entry into five races, a custom BMX jersey with the riders name printed on the back, a Pineview Park BMX number plate for their bike and free rental of a BMX bike and helmet (if needed). The program is geared towards riders five years old and older who are proficient riding a pedal bike. For specific questions, contact Terry Schroeder at tschroeder39@gmail.com. Beginner & Intermediate Distance Running & Apollo Cross Country Practice (Grades 5-12)
High School Summer Activities
This is a great way to learn about distance running and improve endurance in a fun, supportive environment. There will be opportunities for every level of runner, but no prior running experience is required. Practices will be in conjunction with the Apollo High School Cross Country Running team. On Mondays and Wednesdays, we will start at Wilson Park. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays we will start at Apollo High School. Meet at door 11 @ Apollo. Sign-up Options (participant limit of 18 participants who need transportation) No transportation needed - FREE Transportation Mondays and Wednesdays only (Apollo to Wilson Park) - $10 Full Transportation (Pick up/Drop off from Discovery, North, or YMCA) - $20

There is a severe housing shortage for the fairies in your neighborhood! Do the right thing. Add Beautiful Fairy housing to your garden. They are a whimsical addition to your gardens or homes. No experience needed. Three sessions will be used to sculpt and the fourth session will be for decorating and glazing! Items will be fired after the final class and available for pickup at the Community Ed office, Quarryview Education Center, 800 7th St S, Waite Park. Chinese Immersion Camp (grades K-5)
Special Interest
The Chinese Immersion Program at Madison Elementary will offer a 3-day Chinese Immersion summer camp. Students will learn the Chinese language, culture, music, painting, dancing, games, martial arts, etc. The focus of the summer camp will be on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The teachers will help beginners learn basic conversations. Intermediate-level students will keep expanding their knowledge of Chinese through readings and a variety of fun and engaging educational activities. The goals of our camp are for students not only speaking Chinese confidently but also being aware of and appreciating Chinese culture. Enter door 8.
