Your child will create Nintendo-inspired characters using TinkerCAD while learning 3D design skills. They'll also do fun Nintendo-inspired challenges and create themed video games. One to two student-designed projects will be printed and sent home. Printing and material fees are included. Home Technical Requirements: Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones typically DO NOT work. Broadband internet, webcam, microphone and speakers. Zoom Installed on Computer, zoom link will be sent before class. Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard. This seminar is for students of all ability levels and will enable each student to prepare for the ACT college admission test. Participants gain valuable insight into the ACT through a close examination of each question. The workshop teaches students those strategies necessary for answering specific question types and general test taking tips. Suggestions for post seminar test preparation will also be shared. Class fee includes a study guide and 24 practice tests. Enrollment is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Please bring a water bottle, snacks, calculator and two pencils to the seminar. The American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid program helps you recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, automated external defibrillator (AED), breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children and infants. This program will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid certification card that is valid for two years. The certification will be emailed within a few days after completion. This class is suitable for participants as young as 11 years of age that have the strength to compress a CPR manikin two inches. Skills taught include safety topics, front and back paddle, kicking, treading water and advanced breath control. The goal in this class is to perform each skill unassisted. Parents do not need to get into the water with their child. Class limit: 4. Lessons at Tech: Enter Door 2

Designed to orient your child (accompanied by parent) to better prepare them for Toddler Swim lessons. Parents will learn safety information and techniques to help your child feel comfortable in the water. This class provides a bonding experience for parents and their children. Class limit: 12. Skills taught include safety topics, water adjustments, kicking and floating with support, front and back paddle, breath control and completely submerging. Parents do not need to get into the water with their child. Class limit: 4. Lessons at Tech: Enter Door 2

Your child can have fun with friends while learning how to roller skate at the St. Cloud Skatin' Place. In this active, introductory 4-week program, participants will learn the correct form, breaking, and skating forwards. Lessons are intended for first timers. Bring to class: your own pair of roller skates or rent skates for an additional charge (bring cash or credit card) of $5/pair (tax included).

Your child will learn two skills at once with fitness kickboxing & boxing combined. This one-hour class is open to boys and girls of all skill levels from recreational, fitness, self-defense, as well as competitive. Participants will learn basic boxing/striking skills, proper kicking techniques, conditioning drills, and how to defend themselves. The skills taught can serve as a base for hand-eye coordination, footwork, and focus to use in other sports.

Your child will learn how to build a computer bot to compete against other coders. Whether new or experienced, this is the perfect way for your child to explore competitive coding. The Code Championship Series is four online tournaments hosted on Google Meet. If you have a modern browser, no download is required. Players must be able to navigate the internet. The Google Meet link will be emailed two days before the tournament.

In Pastel Petals Cookie Decorating, kids will learn the basics of cookie design using soft pastel colors, floral themes, and fun icing techniques. From pretty petals to adding sparkly details, each participant will decorate their own set of sugar cookies to take home and share (or keep all to themselves—we won’t tell!). This hands-on class encourages artistic expression, builds kitchen confidence, and celebrates the joy of spring through sugar and smiles. What types of bugs and wildlife do they need to watch out for?” The Google Meet link will be emailed to you the Friday before the first class.

Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced each class, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day where players can showcase their skills. Footballs and other equipment are provided. Athletes should dress for the weather. Bring to class: a water bottle (spikes/cleats, and mouthguards are optional). Meet at the outdoor fields.

Is your child looking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes camp introduces players to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and base running. The final day of class is ‘Game Day’ and athletes will showcase their skills in a game environment. Baseballs and bats are provided. Bring to class: water bottle and baseball glove. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old group and recommended when needed for the 4-6 year old group. Meet at ball fields behind school. If there is inclement weather we will move into the gym.
