Mah Jongg Open Play Email List
NEW! Are you looking for a place to play Mah Jongg and connect with others who love the game? We're working to grow a local Mah Jongg community to offer additional open play opportunities. If you're interested, sign up to be added to our Mah Jongg email list. We'll keep you informed about upcoming open play times across our facilities and help connect you with others so you can coordinate when to attend. Whether you're a recent class participant or an experienced player looking for a group, we’d love to have you join! Mah Jongg open play will cost $4 a session or $60 for 20-punches.

Outdoor Nature Class
ECFE for Parents and Children of Mixed Ages
For parents and children 18 months to 4 years. This 8-week class will be held in our Quarryview Woods. The outdoor environment is skillfuly staged for parent-child exploration and adventure with sensory rich play including time for parents to learn more about their child through observation. The class will be led by two ECFE family educators licensed in early childhood and parent education.

Painting Barn Quilt Workshop

Barn quilts tell stories of families, farms, historical events, and communities, and painting them has become a popular and rewarding artistic experience. Instructor Cynthia Buchholz will guide you through the process from start to finish to create a barn quilt that represents your creativity. With a weather proof 2' x 2' aluminum composite panel, over 60 high quality paints and all other materials provided, you will leave with your own masterpiece ready to hang and be admired at your home, outbuilding, or business. A $60.00 supplies fee is due at the beginning of class payable to the instructor and includes all materials needed. No experience is necessary. Enter door 1.

Special Events
This class will teach participants about their workplace rights as well as ways to speak up and advocate for themselves. Participants will also learn about how to advocate for any access and accommodations in their workplace. Course fee includes all learning materials, snacks and beverages.

Rock Steady Boxing for Seniors
Wellness
This boxing-for-fitness program is for seniors over 55 as well as individuals with Parkinson's Disease. You'll participate in non-contact boxing drills that help build motor skills, balance and coordination through a variety of different exercises including punching a heavy bag, hitting the focus mitts and some glove-to-glove contact. A variety of movements, stepping, bobbing and weaving help you build focus, be attentive and get in shape. Class instructors are certified through Rock Steady Boxing of Indianapolis and the Struthers Parkinson's Center of Park Nicollet. Boxing gloves will be provided along with walkers, canes and wheelchairs to assist those that need support when standing. Wear light shoes for standing on foam wrestling mats.
