Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga
If you are looking for a unique experience on the water then Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga is for you. Whether you do some easy stretching, breathing exercises, or take on a challenging vinyasa flow, everyone will enjoy this class. Be prepared to challenge yourself and maybe even get wet! All participants must sign a waiver and be over 18 years. No lifeguard will be present. All equipment will be supplied by Clear Waters Outfitting. Meet at the Warner Lake boat launch.

Participants learn ways to improve efficiency for strokes learned in Swim classes 1-4 while learning new skills. Outdoor Nature Class
ECFE for Parents and Children of Mixed Ages
This 8-week class for parents and children birth to 4 years (April/May) or 4-week class for parents and children 18 month to 4 years (May) will be held in our Quarryview Woods. The outdoor environment is skillfully staged for parent-child exploration and adventure with sensory rich play including time for parents to learn more about their child through observation. The class will be led by two ECFE family educators licensed in early childhood and parent education.

Outdoor Restorative Yoga With KPower

NEW! Experience deep relaxation, breath work, and intensified stretching as you slow your body and mind, and open yourself to healing. Practice includes extended holds of postures with yoga props to experience a new level of restoration by holding poses longer all while breathing in the fresh air in our outdoor studio. Upon poor weather conditions, class will be held in the indoor studio.

Come enjoy our outdoor studio and the fresh summer air. Yoga Flow offers strength, flexibility, concentration and breath work. Perfect for those just starting out in their yoga journey as well as for the advance yogi who is wanting to perfect the basics of their poses with fine attention to alignment details. NEW! Explore your creativity with the textures, colors, and patterns found in the natural world. Participants will combine traditional brushes, paints, and canvas with materials gathered from nature like sticks, leaves, dirt, and weeds to paint, print, stamp, and scratch their way to a beautiful and dynamic work of art. All materials will be supplied but participants are welcome to bring some inspiring objects from nature. Dress for a mess! Enter Door 1.

These lessons are 25 minutes long. Private lessons are designed to give any participant the individualized attention necessary in order to improve or master swimming skills. Together, the instructor, participants and/or parent determine the goals for the session and the curriculum is customized in order to meet those goals. Rage Painting With Branches
Creative
Inspired by viral art videos, this class taps into the wild, expressive side of art-making by using tree branches dipped in black paint to strike a canvas and create bold, abstract works. Class will start by gathering branches before heading inside to experiment on canvas boards. Then you'll unleash your creativity on a pre-primed 16” x 20” canvas to make a one-of-a-kind statement piece. Please wear appropriate clothes for painting.

In this colorful class inspired by beloved author Eric Carle, children will step into a world of storytelling and creativity. Students will listen to some of Eric Carle’s most treasured books and then bring the stories to life through hands-on art projects inspired by the illustrations and characters. Using colors, textures, and imagination, kids will create their own masterpieces while building a love for books, art, and creative expression. Enter door 8.

Rock Steady Boxing for Seniors (with or without Parkinson's disease)

This boxing-for-fitness program is for seniors over 55 as well as individuals with Parkinson's Disease. You'll participate in non-contact boxing drills that help build motor skills, balance and coordination through a variety of different exercises including punching a heavy bag, hitting the focus mitts and some glove-to-glove contact. A variety of movements, stepping, bobbing and weaving help you build focus, be attentive and get in shape. Class instructors are certified through Rock Steady Boxing of Indianapolis and the Struthers Parkinson's Center of Park Nicollet. Boxing gloves will be provided along with walkers, canes and wheelchairs to assist those that need support when standing. Wear light shoes for standing on foam wrestling mats.

Roller Skating Lessons at the Skatin' Place (Ages 5 & Up)
Special Interest
Join the Skatin' Place to learn or grow your roller skating skills! Each lesson is designed to teach essential skills for progressing through the levels, all while engaging in fun activities. On the first day, we’ll assess your child’s current skills and place them in one of three levels: Level One: Focus on correct form for skating and stopping. Expect a few falls while taking a full lap. Level Two: Skating forward efficiently. A few falls during the visit are normal. Level Three: Mastering backward skating, stepovers, and the famous “Shoot-the-Duck.”Showing off might lead to a fall or two!" Arrive 10-15 minutes early to lace up and warm up. Skate rental not included in fee.
