Fused Glass Mosaic
NEW! Create a beautiful 5x7 or 6x6 glass mosaic that will be kiln-fired and fused into a unique piece of art for your home. In the first session, participants will design and assemble their glass mosaic before it is fired in the kiln. During the second session, participants will grout their piece and add any finishing touches. All materials are provided, and no previous experience is necessary. Participants attending the class at Michael's Stained Glass Studio will also receive a 10% discount on additional glass.

At this driver improvement course, you’ll discuss challenges drivers face, new road designs, vehicle technology, and updates to current laws. There are no written or behind the wheel tests, and a certificate of completion will be provided at the end of class. Class is taught as a presentation from a certified instructor. Adult & Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid (Ages 11+)

The American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid program helps you recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, automated external defibrillator (AED), breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children and infants. This program will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an American Heart Association: Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid certification card that is valid for two years. The certification will be emailed within a few days after completion. This class is suitable for participants as young as 11 years of age and must have the strength to compress a CPR manikin two inches. Enter door 1.

Beginner Dungeons & Dragons

NEW! Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game that has shaped popular culture for over 50 years. Finally come be a part of this phenomenon and explore the exciting world of Granite Crossing, a unique setting crafted by our seasoned Game Master herself. Designed for beginners and those with experience, these sessions will focus on the fundamentals of Dungeons & Dragons, 5th Edition. Players are encouraged to embody the spirit of heroes, fostering an environment of good sportsmanship and positivity. All players will leave with a set of dice and dice bag. The first night with feature character creation and coming together as a party before embarking on a larger plot line over subsequent evenings. Come ready for some epic adventures and the forging of unforgettable memories. Enter door 1. About the instructor: Dawn Marinaro is a board game professional and a seasoned Game Master with over 20 years of experience in teaching new players the art of role-playing games.

Beginner Pickleball Lessons

Come experience the fastest growing sport in the country and build your confidence and skills in this friendly, beginner focused environment. Beginner One sessions will teach players the rules, proper form and basic strategies of the game. Beginner Two sessions will help participants strengthen core skills, improve game knowledge and shot selection. In addition, participants will also learn about about the etiquette of 'open play' and have an opportunity to be connected to other beginners. Participants are welcome to bring their own paddles or use the paddles provided. Beginner One players are new to pickleball and have a minimal understanding of the game and no prior experience. Beginner Two players have a basic understanding of the rules and can maintain a short rally. About the Instructor: With a passion for teaching, Mary Kelsey taught Physical Education in the Rocori School District for 37 years. She has extensive experience in paddle sports having played in the original Women's Tennis League as well as the upper levels of Women's Racquetball. Since retirement she has transitioned to becoming an avid pickleball player and coach having taught the game to hundreds newcomers in the area.

Boxing for Fitness is for men and women whether competing or just wanting to learn the basic fundamentals of boxing while getting a great full body workout. Headgear and gloves will be provided to practice. Participants who are interested in competing can receive more information at class.

This beginner session offers basic instruction and experience to help participants learn how to canoe and gain confidence on the water. Class will take place at the calm waters of Warner Lake that is perfect for beginners. You can sign up with a partner or be paired with another paddler. All participants must sign a waiver and children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 18 need waiver signed by parent. No lifeguard will be present. All equipment will be supplied by Clear Waters Outfitting. Meet at Warner Lake boat launch.

NEW! Cricut is an electronic cutting machine used to personalize and create crafts from materials like paper, vinyl, and fabric. With over six years of Cricut experience, instructor Sheri Layne-Laramie will guide participants through its many creative applications and help everyone gain confidence using the Cricut's free Design Space software. In the final class, participants will enjoy hands-on practice with a Cricut machine, and create a small personalized project to take home. Guided Autobiography

If you want to leave a legacy for your family, reflect on life transitions, or begin writing your memoir, the Guided Autobiography method will help you get started. Using a thematic approach, participants write a short two-page story each week that gradually builds a personal memoir while stirring meaningful memories. Each session includes creative activities, writing tips, and helpful prompts centered on major life themes. Participants continue writing their stories at home and are invited to bring them back the following week to share in a safe and supportive environment. The Guided Autobiography method was developed by James Birren, a pioneer in gerontology research at the University of Southern California. Because the approach originated in an academic setting, it has been extensively studied and shown to help foster self-acceptance and a deeper sense of how one’s life has mattered. Hand-Pulled Noodles from Scratch

NEW! Homemade hand-pulled noodles are both fun to create and surprisingly approachable. In this online cook-along class, participants will learn two different techniques for pulling noodles by hand while preparing two classic styles of Biang Biang noodles and Lamian noodles. Biang Biang noodles will be transformed into a bold noodle salad tossed in chili sauce, while Lamian noodles become a comforting miso noodle soup. Participants will receive a list of ingredients and the full recipe five days prior to class to allow enough time for shopping and preparation.

Harmony on Water: Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga & Sound Bath

Join us for a unique experience that combines stand-up paddle board yoga with the soothing vibrations of a sound bath. Class will begin with a brief introduction to paddle boarding techniques and safety along with a gentle yoga warm-up before finally experiencing a meditative sound bath with crystal singing bowls, chimes, and drums, while you float peacefully on your SUP board.
