Fused Glass Mosaic
NEW! Create a beautiful 5x7 or 6x6 glass mosaic that will be kiln-fired and fused into a unique piece of art for your home. In the first session, participants will design and assemble their glass mosaic before it is fired in the kiln. During the second session, participants will grout their piece and add any finishing touches. All materials are provided, and no previous experience is necessary. Participants attending the class at Michael's Stained Glass Studio will also receive a 10% discount on additional glass.

Beginner & Intermediate Distance Running & Apollo Cross Country Practice (Grades 5-12)
High School Summer Activities
This is a great way to learn about distance running and improve endurance in a fun, supportive environment. There will be opportunities for every level of runner, but no prior running experience is required. Practices will be in conjunction with the Apollo High School Cross Country Running team. Monday - Thursday: June 22-25, June 29-July 2 7:30am - 9:00am On Mondays and Wednesdays, we will start at Apollo High School. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, we will start at Wilson Park, and Fridays we will start at Apollo High School. Meet at door 11 @ Apollo. Sign-up Options (participant limit of 18 participants who need transportation) No transportation needed - FREE Transportation Tuesdays and Thursdays only (Apollo to Wilson Park) - $10 Full Transportation (Pick up/Drop off from Discovery, North, Kennedy, or YMCA) - $20

Join us for an exciting and instructional Crush Summer Softball Camp open to all students in District 742 entering grades 5–12 for the 2026–20267school year! Whether you're new to the game or looking to sharpen your skills for the upcoming season, this camp is designed to help players improve in hitting and fielding. Participants will have the flexibility to sign up for times that best fit their summer schedule, making it easy to stay active and engaged without missing out on other summer commitments. Come ready to learn, compete, and have fun with Crush coaches and fellow players. **Girls will sign up for times throughout the week (via Google Doc) that fit within their schedule. Times will be open for up to 6 at a time. High School Summer Activities
Tech Boys & Girls Cross Country Summer Practice (grades 7-12) Open to incoming 7th - 12th grade Tech and South students. Summer is a time for athletes to get stronger and build a running base for the fall. Athletes of all experience levels are welcome! The summer program is 100% optional. Participation is encouraged to build relationships with teammates and a consistent work ethic. Strength training during the summer, building up to the season, is important. Lift with Coach Kylie twice per week at 6:30am, then team run after lifting. Can't make the lift? Come at 7:15am for the team run. The Tech Power Strength and Conditioning Program is designed to develop EXPLOSIVE speed and strength. We incorporate Olympic weight movements, circuit training, plyometrics, and dynamic speed development to monitor and track your athlete’s growth and development. Sessions will run from 8:00-10:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays. Our start date is June 2nd and our last day is August 6th. There will be no programming during the MSHSL Dead Period, the week of July 6-10. If you have any questions, or would like to inquire about scholarship opportunities, please contact Community Education. Bring to workouts: athletic shoes and PLENTY OF WATER. ***WE START JUNE 2nd!*** Enter Tech through the Activities Entrance and meet in the Tech Weight Room.

Tuesday Trail Run Adventures & Apollo Cross Country Practice (Grades 6-12)
High School Summer Activities
It’s time to get off the beaten path and do some trail running! We will visit a different County/Regional/State park each session. Participants need to be able to run at least 2 miles continuously. (June Beginner and Intermediate Distance Running is a great way to get ready!) Some locations will include an opportunity to swim. Participants who choose to swim must wear a life jacket. Contact the coach if you need a life jacket. Practices will be in conjunction with the Apollo High School Cross Country Running team. Meet at door 11 @ Apollo. Tuesdays, July 14, 21, 28: 7:30am-12:00pm Tentative Locations: Kraemer Lake Park, Lake Rebecca, Warner Lake Sign-up Options No transportation needed - FREE (Unlimited participants) Transportation from Discovery, Apollo, North, Kennedy, YMCA - Also Free! Support Provided by a LEAF Grant (limited to 18 participants) Those who select the transportation option will be individually contacted.
